IBS Hyderabad Admission Dates 2027

IBS Hyderabad will admit students to the MBA 2027-29 batch through IBSAT 2026 and accepted national-level management test scores. IBSAT, or ICFAI Business Studies Aptitude Test, is a 2-hour computer-based exam with questions from Verbal Ability, Reading Comprehension, Quantitative Aptitude, and Data Adequacy. Students with valid CAT 2026, XAT 2027, GMAT, or NMAT scores can apply without taking IBSAT.

For BBA and BBA (Hons.) admissions, IBS Hyderabad uses Class 12 marks for shortlisting. UG applicants do not have to take a separate entrance test. Shortlisted BBA candidates attend a personal interaction round before the final offer is made.

IBS Hyderabad Courses and Fees

IBS Hyderabad runs undergraduate, postgraduate, executive, and doctoral programmes in management. The MBA is its main course and has a large national intake. The INR 17.15 Lakhs MBA fee is paid in two yearly instalments: INR 8.60 Lakhs in Year 1 and INR 8.54 Lakhs in Year 2. For BBA, the Year 1 fee is INR 1.70 Lakhs, including one-time registration charges, followed by INR 1.40 Lakhs per year from Year 2 onwards. The 6-year BBA total is INR 8.70 Lakhs. Hostel and mess fees are charged separately and are not part of these programme fees.

IBS Hyderabad Admission Process

MBA selection at IBS Hyderabad has two main stages. First, applicants are assessed through an accepted entrance test. Next, shortlisted students take part in a Group Discussion and Personal Interview, either on campus or online.

Stage 1: Written Test. IBS Hyderabad accepts IBSAT, CAT, XAT, GMAT, and NMAT for MBA admission. Eligibility: Applicants need a Bachelor's degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks. Final-year undergraduate students can apply provisionally, but they must submit their final result before joining the MBA programme.

Students admitted to the Hyderabad campus through IBSAT usually score between 240 and 300 out of 400. Applicants using the CAT route generally have percentiles in the 70 to 85 range. IBS Hyderabad shares shortlisting criteria during the application process instead of releasing formal cutoffs.
