NUEPA is an autonomous organization established in 1962 which emphasizes planning, management and capacity building in educational policy. NUEPA offers Integrated M.Phil-PhD, PhD (full-time) and PhD (Part-time) programs. Initial shortlisting will be based on the eligibility criteria. Shortlisted candidates will be required to appear for a written test followed by a personal interview which will lead to a final list of selected candidates, in order of merit.

NUEPA will follow mandatory provisions in the reservation policy of the Government of India. The institute reserves the right to decide the number of seats to be filled in the year 2021- 22. Candidates processing the eligibility qualifications must submit the statement of marks at the time of the written test on June 19, 2021. The last date for submission of the application is May 15, 2021. Candidates must submit the application on or before May 15, 2021.

Ques. Is there any scholarship available at NUEPA Delhi NCR?

Ans. NUEPA has constituted 10 fellowships each for the students of the M.Phil and PhD program. The fellowships are granted according to norms laid down by the UGC regarding the same. The fellowships are also for the students who have qualified NET and have been awarded Junior Research fellowships by UGC-CSIR. To continue availing of the fellowship, a student has to show satisfactory performance in each quarter.

Ques. Does NUEPA provide hostel facilities?

Ans. Yes, NUEPA provides hostel facilities to both girls and boys. The hostel building has a total of 7 floors and 52 rooms. The hostel provides both AC and Non-AC rooms to the students. There are all the necessary facilities provided in the room itself.

Ques. How is the library of NUEPA?

Ans. The library of NUEPA is well-equipped. It has approximately 43,200 books. The library subscribes to more than 170 current national and international journals and popular reading magazines. Library also has electronic facilities such as Wifi.

Ques. How many departments are there in NUEPA?

Ans. There are a total of nine departments in NUEPA. Which are as follows: Department of Educational Planning, Department of Educational Administration, Department of Educational Policy, Department of Educational Finance, Department of school and Non-formal education, Department of international cooperation, department of sub-national systems, Department of higher education and Department of operations research and systems management.

Ques. Does NUEPA Delhi NCR provide placement or training facilities?

Ans. The institute on average conducts more than 100 training programmes/ workshops and seminars every year. The training cell provides logistics support for the smooth conduct of all the training programmes. The cell also maintains the record of all the programmes and the programme participants. It also upkeeps the equipment like LED/ OHP/ Laptops/ PA systems. NUEPA also sponsors research in educational planning, Planners and academics.
