Originally postponed due to the pandemic, the exam took place on September 2, 2020, in the forenoon session, and it was organized by SBTET, Hyderabad. Candidates aiming for admission to Diploma courses in Engineering or non-engineering fields were required to answer questions in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Specifically, the TS POLYCET question paper included 120 MCQs totaling 120 marks, with an exam duration of 2 hours (120 minutes). Each correct response earned the candidate one mark, and no negative marking was applied for incorrect answers. The difficulty level of the exam was considered moderate.
