XAT 2027 Exam Pattern
XAT 2027 question paper has 2 parts and 4 sections. Part 1 has 3 sections, including VALR, DM, and QA & DI. Part 2 includes only 1 section: General Knowledge.
- VALR carries 26 questions, DM 21 questions, and QA & DI carry 28 questions.
- General Knowledge carries a total of 20 questions.
- Total duration of XAT 2027 exam is 180 minutes with 170 minutes for Part 1 and 10 minutes for Part 2.
- Total number of questions in XAT 2027 is 95 and students can score a maximum of 95 marks in XAT exam.

XAT 2027 Marking Scheme
XAT total marks will be calculated based on the XAT 2027 marking scheme prescribed by the conducting authority.
- For Part 1 of the XAT question paper, +1 mark will be awarded for correct answers, -0.25 marks will be deducted for each incorrect answer, and -0.10 marks will be deducted for each unattempted question beyond 8.
- For Part 2 (GK), +1 mark will be given for each correct answer, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect answers.

XAT 2027 Selection Process
XAT 2027 selection process includes various stages after the XAT result is declared. After the XAT 2027 result declaration, institutes will shortlist candidates based on their XAT scores.
- Participating students will proceed to conduct the GD / WAT / Essay Writing.
- Students will also be required to appear for the PI round.
- After conducting PI, WAT, and GD, participating institutes will prepare the final merit list and issue offer letters to selected candidates.
