What's New In AILET 2026?
The National Law University (NLU) has released the AILET Answer Key 2025 on its official website. Candidates can raise objections against the provisional answer key until December 16, 2025.
- Candidates who appeared for AILET 2026 must submit their objections through the online portal by 12:00 noon on December 16, 2025.
- While filing objections, candidates should carefully verify that the question number in their respective Question Booklet corresponds correctly with the question number in the Master Question Booklet.

AILET 2026 Eligibility Criteria
Applicants filling up the AILET 2026 forms need to fulfill the eligibility criteria for their respective programmes. NLU Delhi has laid down varying educational requirements for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.), LL.M., and Ph.D. courses. However, there is no age limit for other courses.
3.1 Criteria for B.A.LL.B. (Hons.)
To be eligible for admission to the under-graduate law course at NLU Delhi:
- Qualification: Should have passed Class 12 or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Minimum Marks:
General/OBC: Minimum 50% marks
SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 45% marks
- Age Limit: No limit for AILET 2026.
Note: Even students who are appearing in the Class 12 board examination of 2026 are eligible to apply provisionally.
3.2 Eligibility for LL.M. Programme
For postgraduate admission to the one-year LL.M. programme:
- Qualification: LL.B. or equivalent law degree from a recognized institution.
- Minimum Marks:
General/OBC: Lower than 50%
SC/ST/PwD: Lower than 45%
- Age Limit: No age limitations.
Note: Eligibility of Final-Year Students: Final-year students of LL.B. can provisionally apply.
3.3 Eligibility for Ph.D. Programme
For students applying for the Ph.D. course at NLU Delhi:
- Qualification: Master's degree in Law (LL.M.) from a recognized institution/university.
- Minimum Marks:
General/OBC: Minimum 55%
SC/ST/PwD: Minimum 50%
Additional Requirement: Shortlisted candidates will have to provide a research proposal after clearing the entrance test.
