What the AILET 2026 BA LLB Paper Asked
The English section used passages on AI in law enforcement and on social-media algorithms. Current Affairs and General Knowledge included Operation Sindoor, an Indian gene-therapy trial, international legal news and sports. Logical Reasoning included syllogisms, assumptions, strengthen-or-weaken questions and principle-based problems.
The section numbering in the verified paper was English from 1 to 50, Current Affairs and General Knowledge from 51 to 80, and Logical Reasoning from 81 to 150.
How to Use AILET Question Papers
Attempt a paper in one 120-minute sitting. Use the answer key only after the attempt. Then calculate the score and separate mistakes caused by weak knowledge from those caused by rushed reading or guessing.
The current BA LLB pattern gives almost half the questions to Logical Reasoning, so the section score should be reviewed separately. LLM applicants should note which law subjects caused the most errors because the paper mixes branches of law.
