AILET 2027 reservation applies to the seats offered by NLU Delhi. BA LLB has 120 seats in total. LLM has 81 seats in total, including one supernumerary seat for a Kashmiri Migrant applicant.
Women have 30% horizontal reservation and PwD candidates have 5% horizontal reservation within the stated categories. Horizontal reservation does not create a separate extra block of seats.

The regular Indian category total is 70, including four PwD seats. The Kashmiri Migrant seat is supernumerary, so it is added without reducing another category.
Women and PwD Reservation
The 30% women's reservation and 5% PwD reservation work within the main categories. For example, a woman selected in the General category uses a General seat. She is counted towards the women's share at the same time.
Category Certificates for AILET 2027
OBC Non-Creamy Layer and EWS certificates must be dated on or after 1 April 2026. SC, ST and PwD applicants must have the certificate that applies to the category claimed in the form. NLU Delhi checks original documents before admission.
What Happens to Vacant Reserved Seats?
NLU Delhi applies the conversion rules given with the seat matrix. A vacant seat can move only in the stated order and after the relevant category list is exhausted. The university's counselling notice for that year decides the final conversion and allotment.
