IBSAT 2025 exam will be conducted on December 27 and 28, 2025. It is a national-level management aptitude test for admission to the 2-year MBA/PGPM programs offered at 9 IBS campuses across India.

IBSAT National Mock Test (NMT) is a practice exam before the actual exam. NMT helps you check the preparation and while competing for 100 prizes — including ₹1,00,000 for the first prize, ₹50,000 for the second, ₹25,000 for the third, and ₹5,000 for ranks 4 to 100. IBSAT NMT 2025 is scheduled over 5 days, from 11 AM to 1 PM – August 24, September 10, October 25, November 22, and December 13, 2025.
Candidates with valid CAT/NMAT by GMAC/XAT/ GMAT score (since 2023) need not appear for IBSAT 2025. However, appearing for IBSAT makes them eligible for a ₹2 lakh scholarship.
The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (The IFHE), Hyderabad — a Deemed University, conducts the IBSAT exam through remote proctoring. This way, candidates can take the exam from the comfort of their homes. IBSAT exam consists of 140 questions across four sections: Verbal Ability (50), Reading Comprehension (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), and Data Adequacy & Interpretation (30).
IBSAT 2025 scores, as well as valid scores from the above national-level tests, are accepted for admission to the following programs:
The Group Discussion (GD) rounds are replaced by Micro Presentation. The selection process will now consist of micro-presentation and Personal Interview rounds. For final selection, past academic records & performance of candidates in the micro presentation are considered. The selection briefings will be in January 2025, at 70+ major cities and towns across India. The selection process for MBA/PGPM will be in the 2nd week of February 2025 at IBS Hyderabad.

8.2 Verbal Ability
IBS Aptitude Test or IBSAT is a national-level entrance exam conducted by ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (deemed to be a University) for admission to MBA/PGPM programs. It is scheduled for December 27 and December 28, 2025. The result is expected to be announced by the first week of the following January.
The examination will be a two-hour Computer-based test (CBT) of multiple-choice questions. Qualified candidates will have to attend a selection briefing round and appear for the final selection rounds, including Micro Presentation & Personal Interview rounds.
Its scores are accepted by nine ICFAI Business Schools (IBS), that is, IBS Hyderabad, IBS Mumbai, IBS Bengaluru, IBS Pune, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Jaipur & IBS Dehradun.

IBSAT 2025 registration is open from July 1, 2025, on the official website. Candidates can submit their application form by the third week of December 2025. Note that the application form is available in two modes, online & offline. For offline mode, candidates will have to purchase from IBS Marketing Branches, from the nearest branches. There will be a common application form for MBA/ PGPM programmes at different campuses.
While filling out the application form, candidates need to be ready with the documents given below.
IBSAT 2025 registration fee will be Rs. 1800/-. The two modes of payment are given below.

The admit card will be released in December 2025 tentatively. The candidates who completed the application process by paying the application fee will be eligible to download the admit card.
The slot booking is now open at ibsindia.org till the date of the examination. Registered candidates can schedule their exam date and time from their profile page by selecting “Schedule IBSAT”. Note that, the slots are limited, and the booking is on a first come, first serve basis. Once the slots are booked, it cannot be changed.
The Admit Card is a mandatory document that has to be presented at the exam centre. Candidates might get barred from taking the test, if they fail to do so. The examination is held in home-proctored mode but the candidates will have to present the hard copy of their admit card to the invigilator through the web camera.
Note - Exam conducting body ICFAI Business School (IBS) will not send the hard copy of the admit card to the registered candidates.
The conducting body, that is, ICFAI Business School conducts the mock test. It allows the candidates to take the mock test and get exposure to the authentic exam pattern and navigation system. It helps them to get familiar with the exam-taking experience, and improve their chance to score high.
IBS will conduct the IBSAT National Mock Test 2025 on five test dates from August 24 to December 13, 2025. These proctored mock tests help you understand the exam in a simulated environment and also provide an opportunity to win prize money. There are 100 prizes to be awarded –

There is no registration fee to appear for the mock test. Register for NMT 2025 using your credentials and schedule the exam. Only the candidates who registered for the exam will receive the link, that is, ibsat-mocktest.ibsindia.org/ on their registered email address. You must be an Indian citizen, have a valid email ID, a steady internet connection, and graduate between 2023 and 2025 to meet the eligibility criteria. The exam will be proctored using Zoom so your video must be on.

Candidates will be able to download their results from the official website. No candidates will get it via post or any other medium. They will have to enter their roll number & password to get their results. A combined merit list will be published with a category-wise merit list for all the candidates participating in the examination.
To download the scorecard, candidates must log in using their registered login credentials such as application form number and password. The candidates will be called for the selection round based on the marks obtained. The shortlisted candidates must appear for the Micro Presentation & Personal Interview rounds.
The cutoff will be released soon after the declaration of the result or along with it. Candidates who will meet the cutoff will be called for the micro presentation and personal interview rounds, based on which the final results will be declared. Cut-off criteria will be released at each campus separately.

The selection briefings will be from January 10 to January 19, 2025, at 70+ major cities and towns across India. The selection process for MBA/PGPM will be from February 15 to February 24, 2025 at IBS Hyderabad.
In the selection round, candidates are expected to deliver a concise talk displaying their communication, presentation skills, and ability to think on their feet and structure their thoughts effectively in Micro Presentation. Each candidate will select one topic from a set of three. They will have 4 minutes to complete the task—1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for the presentation. The interview is a critical part of the evaluation, focusing on the candidate's attitude, communication skills, and clarity of thought.
Note: Past academic records and performance in both the Micro Presentation and the Personal Interview will form the basis of the final admission decision.
The Counselling Procedure will be held via online mode. Candidates who will be shortlisted in micro presentation and personal interview sessions will be selected for admission procedures.
