What's New In IBSAT 2025?
IBSAT 2026 will be conducted on eight test dates across four weekends in December 2026 in remote-proctored online mode. Candidates can take the test from home and choose from two daily slots: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM or 3:00 PM–5:00 PM. IBSAT is conducted for admission to the 2-year MBA/PGPM programs offered across nine IBS campuses in India.
- IBSAT 2026 applications are open. The application fee is Rs 1,800.
- Application deadlines are test-cycle specific: December 1 for Tests 1 & 2, December 8 for Tests 3 & 4, December 15 for Tests 5 & 6, and December 22, 2026 for Tests 7 & 8.

IBSAT National Mock Test (NMT) 2026 is being conducted on six dates between July and December 2026: July 25, August 22, September 26, October 24, November 21, and December 9. The top 100 scorers are eligible for cash prizes, including Rs 2,00,000 for Rank 1, Rs 1,00,000 for Rank 2, Rs 50,000 for Rank 3, and Rs 5,000 each for Ranks 4–100.
Candidates with valid CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™, or GMAT™ scores can also apply for IBS admission without taking IBSAT, subject to the admission criteria. IBS has announced 500 scholarships of Rs 2 lakh each, worth Rs 10 crore in total, for eligible candidates applying to the MBA/PGPM 2027–29 batch through IBSAT and other accepted management entrance tests.
The ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), Hyderabad conducts IBSAT through remote proctoring. The test has 140 questions across four sections: Verbal Ability (50), Reading Comprehension (30), Quantitative Aptitude (30), and Data Adequacy & Interpretation (30). The duration is 120 minutes and there is no negative marking.
IBSAT 2026 scores, as well as valid scores from the accepted national-level tests, are used for admission to the following programs:
- MBA program at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bangalore, IBS Dehradun, and IBS Jaipur

What Is IBSAT Exam?
IBS Aptitude Test or IBSAT is a national-level management entrance test conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE), a Deemed-to-be University, for admission to MBA/PGPM programs offered by nine IBS campuses. For the 2026 cycle, IBSAT will be held on December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2026 in remote-proctored online mode.
Each exam date has two slots: 11:00 AM–1:00 PM and 3:00 PM–5:00 PM. Candidates can choose their preferred date and slot, subject to availability. IBS will announce results on the Monday following each weekend test cycle.

What Is IBSAT Eligibility Criteria 2026?
Candidates applying for the MBA/PGPM 2027–29 admission cycle should meet the following eligibility conditions.
