IBSAT Registration 2026 is open for admission to the MBA/PGPM 2027-29 batch. Registrations started on July 1, 2026. The application fee is INR 1,800, and one application can be used to apply to all nine IBS campuses.

IBSAT 2026 will be conducted through a remote-proctored online mode across eight test dates in December 2026. Candidates can choose their preferred test date and one of two daily slots, subject to availability. The application deadline depends on the test cycle selected by the candidate.

The registration process includes online registration, completing the candidate profile and academic details, paying the application fee, selecting the applicable test route, and submitting the application. Candidates appearing through IBSAT can subsequently schedule their preferred test date and slot as per availability.

IBS is also conducting the IBSAT National Mock Test (NMT) 2026 on six dates: July 25, August 22, September 26, October 24, November 21, and December 9, 2026. Registration for the National Mock Test is free. The top 100 performers are eligible for cash prizes, with INR 2 lakh for Rank 1, INR 1 lakh for Rank 2, INR 50,000 for Rank 3, and INR 5,000 each for Ranks 4 to 100.

What Is IBSAT Exam?

IBSAT exam is a national-level management entrance test conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) for admission to MBA/PGPM programmes offered through the nine ICFAI Business School (IBS) campuses: Hyderabad, Bangalore, Dehradun, Jaipur, Ahmedabad, Gurgaon, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Pune.

For the 2026 cycle, IBSAT will be held on December 5, 6, 12, 13, 19, 20, 26, and 27, 2026 in remote-proctored online mode. Two test slots will be available each day: 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM.

Candidates can also apply for IBS admissions using valid CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™, or GMAT™ scores as applicable.

How to register for IBSAT?

For IBSAT test takers, the final application deadline depends on the selected test cycle: December 1 for Tests 1-2, December 8 for Tests 3-4, December 15 for Tests 5-6, and December 22, 2026 for Tests 7-8.

After registration and payment, candidates receive their application details through email/SMS. They must complete their profile and submit the relevant test information. Candidates applying through CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™, or GMAT™ can submit their valid scores as applicable.

IBSAT 2026 Scholarships

IBS has announced INR 10 crore worth of scholarships for candidates applying to the MBA/PGPM 2027-29 batch. The scholarship programme includes 500 scholarships of INR 2 lakh each. Candidates taking IBSAT 2026 as well as applicants using eligible CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™, or GMAT™ scores can be considered under the applicable scholarship criteria.

For candidates appearing in IBSAT 2026, scholarship allotments will be announced along with the result on the Monday immediately following each weekend test cycle. Scholarship decisions for candidates applying through CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™, or GMAT™ scores will be announced in January 2027.
