ICFAI Business School has announced the IBSAT 2026 exam dates for admission to the MBA/PGPM 2027-29 batch. IBSAT 2026 will be conducted on eight dates across four consecutive weekends in December 2026 in remote-proctored online mode. Candidates can choose their preferred test date and one of two daily slots while scheduling the exam.
Candidates aspiring to take admission to the IBS MBA/PGPM programmes should check the complete IBSAT 2026 schedule before applying. The MBA programme is offered at IBS Hyderabad, IBS Bangalore, IBS Dehradun and IBS Jaipur, while the PGPM programme is offered at IBS Ahmedabad, IBS Gurgaon, IBS Kolkata, IBS Mumbai and IBS Pune.
IBSAT 2026 test slots: Slot 1 will be conducted from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Slot 2 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM on each test date. Application deadlines vary according to the test weekend selected by the candidate.
What Is IBSAT Registration Date?
IBSAT 2026 registration started on July 1, 2026. Instead of one common closing date for all test sessions, IBS has announced separate application deadlines for each pair of December test dates. Candidates should apply early because the number of seats available in each test date and time slot is limited.

The IBSAT application fee is INR 1,800. One application covers all nine IBS campuses.
What Is IBSAT Mock Test Date?
IBS is conducting six IBSAT National Mock Tests in 2026 from July to December. Registration for the National Mock Test is free. These online proctored mock tests are designed to help candidates become familiar with the IBSAT format and test-taking environment.

The National Mock Test also carries prize money. The first prize is Rs 2 lakh, the second prize is Rs 1 lakh, the third prize is Rs 50,000, and candidates ranked 4th to 100th receive Rs 5,000 each, subject to the applicable eligibility and verification conditions.
When Is IBSAT Exam Date?
IBSAT 2026 will be conducted from December 5 to December 27, 2026, across eight test dates. The exam will be conducted in remote-proctored online mode, allowing candidates to take the test from home. Two test slots will be available on every exam date.

Registered candidates can schedule their preferred date and time through the IBSAT candidate portal. Slot availability is limited and is subject to availability at the time of scheduling. The admit card is issued after the candidate completes the slot-booking process.
When Is IBSAT Result Date?
IBSAT 2026 results will be declared separately after each weekend test cycle. IBS has announced that results will be released on the Monday immediately following each Saturday-Sunday test cycle. Candidates will therefore not have to wait until January for a common result announcement.

Scholarship decisions for candidates appearing for IBSAT 2026 will also be announced with the respective test-cycle results. IBS has announced scholarships worth Rs 10 crore, comprising 500 scholarships of Rs 2 lakh each.
Candidates applying through CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™ or GMAT™ can submit their official scorecards after the respective results are released. Scholarship decisions for candidates applying through these examination scores are scheduled to be announced in January 2027.
IBSAT Selection Process Date
Candidates shortlisted through IBSAT 2026 or an accepted CAT, XAT, NMAT by GMAC™ or GMAT™ score will be called for the IBS selection process. Group Discussion is no longer part of the current process. The selection process consists of a Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.
Final admission is based on the candidate's past academic record and performance in the Micro Presentation and Personal Interview.
