SNAP 2026 registration is open until 25 November 2026. The three tests will be held on 13, 19 and 26 December 2026. The result is scheduled for 12 January 2027.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University) conducts SNAP for admission to 32 MBA programmes at 17 Symbiosis institutes. A candidate may take one, two or all three tests. The highest score is used when more than one test is taken.

SNAP 2026 Dates

These dates are listed on the official SNAP schedule. The test time will be printed on the admit card for each selected date.

SNAP 2026 Registration and Fees

The test fee is Rs 2,550 for each attempt, plus government taxes. A separate fee of Rs 1,000, plus taxes, is charged for every MBA programme selected. Both payments are non-refundable.

Paying only the test fee does not submit an MBA programme application. The programme must be selected and its separate fee must be paid through the same portal. Test dates and cities are allotted according to availability, so a preferred choice may close before 25 November.

The form has one test-registration part and a separate programme-selection part. The same login is used for both, but each choice creates a different payment. A candidate taking two tests and applying to three programmes therefore pays two test fees and three programme fees.

SNAP 2026 Eligibility

A graduate from a recognised university may apply with at least 50% marks or an equivalent grade. The minimum is 45% for SC and ST candidates. Final-year students may also apply, but admission remains subject to completing the degree and meeting the programme rules.

Some specialised MBA programmes have extra requirements. For example, a programme may ask for a particular degree, subject background or work experience. The general SNAP rule therefore does not replace the eligibility page of the selected institute.

SNAP 2026 Exam Pattern

The test is a computer-based MCQ paper in English. Every correct answer gets one mark and every wrong answer costs 0.25 mark. There is no penalty for an unanswered question. The detailed SNAP exam pattern explains the section split, screen navigation and the change from 2025.

SNAP Attempts and Score Rule

A candidate can take up to three tests. If more than one is taken, the highest score is used for the final percentile. SIU does not average the attempts and does not add a bonus for taking all three.

The official rules say candidate scores are not normalised across the three tests. SIU instead says it uses a tested paper-setting process to keep the spread and difficulty of the papers comparable. This is why the best actual score, rather than an adjusted average, matters.

SNAP Institutes and MBA Admission

SNAP 2026 is linked to 32 MBA programmes at 17 institutes in Pune, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Nagpur, Nashik and Noida. The list includes general MBA programmes and options in business analytics, international business, banking and finance, operations, healthcare, sports management, technology and other areas.

The test score is only the first stage. Each institute shortlists candidates for its programme and conducts its own Group Exercise and Personal Interaction process. The final result also depends on programme eligibility, category rules and the institute merit list.

SNAP Admit Card and Test Centre

A separate admit card is issued for every test selected. Test 1, Test 2 and Test 3 have different admit-card dates. The card shows the reporting time, test time and allotted centre, so one card cannot be used for another test date.

The printed admit card and an original photo ID are checked at the centre. The official instructions also ask candidates to keep the authenticated admit card after the test because it is required during the later institute selection process. A soft copy of the identity proof is not accepted.

SNAP 2026 Result and Next Stage

The SNAP 2026 result is scheduled for 12 January 2027. The scorecard will show the test result used for the admission cycle. The official FAQ says the scorecard will remain available until 12 February 2027.

After the result, participating institutes publish their own shortlists and later selection schedules. These dates can differ by institute and programme. A high percentile does not by itself confirm a seat because the candidate must also meet the course rules and complete the institute selection stage.
