SCMHRD Admission Dates 2027

SCMHRD uses SNAP 2026 scores for admission to its MBA 2027-29 batch. The same SNAP score is used for shortlisting candidates for all three MBA programmes. After the exam stage, SCMHRD conducts GE-PIWAT, which includes Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Written Ability Test, at its Hinjewadi campus.

SCMHRD Courses and Fees

SCMHRD Pune offers three MBA options, an Executive MBA, and Management Development Programmes for corporate learners. The full-time MBA fee details below cover the complete 2-year course for Indian and NRI students.

MBA (General Management) is the flagship course at SCMHRD and is known for HR, strategy, and BFSI placements. MBA (Infrastructure Management), with a fee of INR 17,28,300, has the lowest entry fee among the three MBA tracks and is planned for careers in infrastructure, urban management, and real estate. Hostel accommodation is offered on campus, with yearly fees between INR 84,500 and INR 1,12,500.

SCMHRD Admission Process

Admission at SCMHRD is fully merit-based, and the institute does not have a management quota. The final selection score is calculated out of 100 marks: SNAP score carries 50 weighted marks, Group Exercise carries 10 marks, and Personal Interaction with Written Ability Test carries 40 marks.

MBA Admission Process

• Eligibility: Students need a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university with at least 50% aggregate marks. The minimum is 45% for SC/ST students. There is no stream restriction.
• Qualifying exam: A valid SNAP score is needed. SNAP is held 3 times every December, and the best score from all attempts is considered.
• SCMHRD SNAP cutoff: MBA (General Management) needs 97 percentile. MBA (Business Analytics) and MBA (Infrastructure Management) need 94 percentile.
• GE-PIWAT: Shortlisted students attend Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Written Ability Test at the SCMHRD campus in Hinjewadi, Pune.
• NRI seats: NRI seats are offered in all three MBA tracks. NRI applicants can apply with SNAP or GMAT scores. Students should contact SCMHRD admissions for NRI process details.

EMBA Admission

The SCMHRD EMBA is meant for working professionals with at least 5 years of full-time work experience after graduation. Applicants can use GMAT or SNAP scores. Selection includes application review and an interview. Students can apply at scmhrd.edu.

SCMHRD SNAP Cutoff

SCMHRD shortlists MBA applicants through SNAP percentiles. The General Management MBA has the highest stated cutoff, while Business Analytics and Infrastructure Management use the same stated cutoff level.

SCMHRD Placements

SCMHRD Pune placements for the 2023-25 batch closed with the highest package at INR 35.9 LPA. The MBA average package was INR 21.47 LPA, and the median package reached INR 20 LPA. The placement process saw participation from more than 118 companies.

BFSI led the hiring share with 30.11% of total offers. Engineering and manufacturing accounted for 12.5%, while consulting made up 11.93%. SCMHRD also received recruitment interest from IT and analytics, FMCG, healthcare management, and infrastructure sectors. BFSI recruiters included Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Kotak, and major insurance and asset management firms. Deloitte, KPMG, EY, and Accenture were among the consulting recruiters.

MBA (Infrastructure Management) students are mainly placed in real estate, construction, urban planning, government infrastructure bodies, and private consulting. MBA-BA students find demand in analytics, IT, and BFSI roles. SCMHRD’s HR management strength also brings HR roles from Tata, Mahindra, Wipro, and Infosys group companies.

SCMHRD Rankings

SCMHRD Pune is ranked among India’s top management institutes and takes part in NIRF under the Management category.

Symbiosis International (Deemed University), the parent institution, has NAAC "A++" grade accreditation. SCMHRD programmes are approved by AICTE. The institute is also included in major India management ranking surveys by Business Today, India Today, and Outlook, usually within the national top 20 to 25 range.

SCMHRD Campus and Infrastructure

SCMHRD is based in Hinjewadi, Pune, within the Rajiv Gandhi Infotech Park zone. This location places the institute close to one of India’s biggest IT clusters and supports industry sessions, guest lectures, and live projects with companies in Hinjewadi Phase 1, 2, and 3.

The campus offers hostel facilities with annual charges from INR 84,500 to INR 1,12,500. SCMHRD vs SIBM Pune vs XIMB Bhubaneswar

Students scoring in the 94 to 97 percentile range in SNAP often compare SCMHRD Pune with SIBM Pune and XIMB Bhubaneswar. SIBM Pune is also SNAP-based and has a higher NIRF rank, while XIMB Bhubaneswar uses XAT and falls in a comparable NIRF band. These three private B-schools usually sit in the INR 18 to 27 Lakh fee range.

SIBM Pune generally reports a higher average package and admits students from a similar SNAP-based applicant group at a comparable fee level. XIMB Bhubaneswar has a lower fee structure and uses XAT scores. SCMHRD stands out for its MBA (Infrastructure Management) course, which does not have a direct match at SIBM or XIMB. Its BFSI and HR placement depth is also well known among Pune B-schools.
