SIBM Pune MBA admission for the 2027-29 batch is linked to SNAP 2026. Students must complete SNAP registration and the separate SIBM Pune programme registration before the given deadlines.

SIBM Pune Courses and Fees

SIBM Pune has four management programmes. The 2-year MBA is the flagship course and uses SNAP for admission. MBA Executive and the PGC in Risk Management follow separate routes for working professionals.

For the flagship MBA, the Year 1 all-inclusive instalment is INR 9,12,100. This amount includes academic fees, hostel, mess, and deposits. The Year 1 hostel fee for 3-sharing accommodation is INR 1,57,300. Hostel stay is compulsory for SIBM Pune MBA students.

SIBM Pune Admission Process

SIBM Pune accepts only SNAP scores for MBA admission. CAT scores are not used for the flagship MBA. The final composite score gives 50% weight to SNAP, 10% to Group Exercise, and 40% to Personal Interview.

SIBM Pune MBA Eligibility

• Applicants need a bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least 50% aggregate marks, or 45% for SC, ST, and Differently Abled candidates
• Students in the final year of graduation can apply on a provisional basis
• A valid SNAP score from the current admission cycle is required

SIBM Pune MBA Selection Process

• Stage 1: SIBM Pune prepares the shortlist using SNAP scores. For the 2026-28 batch, the General Category cutoff was 97 percentile and above
• Stage 2: Shortlisted students attend Group Exercise, which carries 10% weight in the composite score
• Stage 3: Personal Interview carries 40% weight
• The final merit list and seat allotment are based on the composite score

The SNAP registration fee is INR 1,750 per test. Students also pay a separate INR 1,000 programme registration fee for SIBM Pune. The selection process is held at the SIBM Pune campus in Lavale, Pune, while online participation rules may change by admission cycle.

SIBM Pune Placements

For MBA placements 2025, covering the 2023-25 batch, SIBM Pune reported a highest package of INR 53.58 LPA, an average package of INR 28.83 LPA, and a median package of INR 26.04 LPA. The institute placed 100% of the batch and received 98 Pre-Placement Offers from 109 companies.

Recruiters came from Consulting, BFSI, FMCG, IT and E-Commerce, Automotive, and Manufacturing. Accenture, Bajaj, Cipla, Exide, Indigo, Greaves, and Zomato were among the confirmed recruiters. The top 25% of the batch received an average package of INR 35.03 LPA, while the top 50% average stood at INR 32.94 LPA. For summer internships, the highest stipend was INR 4.80 Lakhs for 2 months and the average stipend was INR 3.12 Lakhs.

SIBM Pune Rankings

SIBM Pune is placed among the top management institutes in India by NIRF. It does not feature in international MBA rankings such as FT or QS Global MBA.

SIBM Pune Campus and Infrastructure

SIBM Pune is based at the Symbiosis Knowledge Village campus in Lavale, Hinjewadi, Pune. The location is close to Hinjewadi IT Park, which supports internship and placement access for students.

The shared Symbiosis campus has a library, computer labs, auditoria, sports facilities, and food courts. SIBM Pune also has its own academic block for MBA programmes. SIBM Pune vs SCMHRD vs IMT Ghaziabad

Students with strong SNAP scores and CAT scores in the 95 to 99 percentile range often compare SIBM Pune with SCMHRD Pune and IMT Ghaziabad. SIBM Pune and SCMHRD Pune use SNAP, while IMT Ghaziabad uses CAT-based admission.

Among these three institutes, SIBM Pune has the highest NIRF rank and average placement package. SCMHRD Pune is a direct option for students applying through SNAP. IMT Ghaziabad has a bigger batch size and suits students who want to apply through CAT instead of SNAP.
