SIBM Bangalore Hostel Fees 2026

SIBM Bangalore provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls. The fee details of the hostels are given below:

• Hostel and Mess fees for the subsequent year will be communicated before the commencement of the next academic year.
• Hostel and Mess fees may increase by up to 15% each year.
  • Government taxes will be applicable as per prevailing rules.
• Discretionary Quota Seats:
  • A limited number of seats are reserved under the Discretionary Quota.
  • Only students with a reasonable academic record and good entrance test scores are considered.
  • The fee for Discretionary Quota Seats is double the academic fees of the open category.
  • Fees must be paid directly to the institute via online transfer or demand draft.
  • No donation is charged under the Discretionary Quota.

Refund Details:-

• General Rules
  • SIU follows the UGC guidelines of 2018 on refund of fees and non-retention of certificates.
  • During COVID-19, UGC allowed full fee refunds within specific timelines.
  • For the Academic Year 2024 - 25, new UGC guidelines apply.
  • These rules will remain in force until UGC issues new ones.
• Procedure for Cancellation
  • The student must submit a cancellation form to their department.
  • The department will process and refund the eligible amount within 15 days.
  • Admission may be cancelled automatically if:
    • Fees are unpaid for over one semester, or
    • The student is absent for more than 30 days without notice.

• Refund of Fees (2024–25 onwards)

Notes:

• Hostel & mess fee is refunded proportionately (for unused duration).
• Insurance premium is non-refundable.
• Refunds go to the same bank account used for admission.

• UGC 2018-Based Refund Schedule (for admissions extending beyond 31 Oct)

Note:- Up to INR 5,000 may be deducted as processing charges.
