I choose this course because i had interest upon learning Economics with job oriented skills. Because here the course includes of Excel advanced. The semester is about 4-5 months. The faculties are so good and well taught.
The campus life is so good and i got an oppurtunity to know different people and cultures through this University. The campus is Eco friendly and there are different programmes happening through out the year. And the sports is also so good as there is daily practices and we have professional coaches for coaching football, Cricket, kho-kho. And the admission process is through an Interview based as some of the professional courses like Bcom,BBA etc has exam also. As while looking at the bad aspects the couse curriculum is packed with lots of assignments and exams.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is been divided into 10 semester for BA LLB hons in Christ University Bangalore, in each semester you get to learn new subjects also the faculty that is provided here is very good and very knowledgeable. In terms of academics the faculty has impeccable amount of knowledge and they all I have been highly qualified having PHD degrees and doctorates. Teaching method in this college is based on student centric method where the teachers promote student based learning by promoting student interaction and giving them opportunities to present. Exams are held in two phases which has mid semesters and end semester, the difficulty level of the exams are medium where as certain subjects have high level of difficulty like law of torts and Political theory etc.
The School of law in Christ University Bangalore has a good placement cell which is been governed by recruitment committee which is also known as RCC. For the placement eligibility, you have to pass all the semesters without getting a back or failing in any one of them. There are high number of recruiter which come for recruiting the students from Christ University Bangalore, these recruiters are being requested or called by the RCC committee. The highest package which was provided last year was 24 lacs by a tier one law firm, and the average package is around 8 lakhs. Around 80% of the students who sit for the placement get placed in Christ University Bangalore School of law. I personally want to go to a corporate sector and getting place into any tier one law firm.

Read Full ReviewCourse curriculum is nice, subjects are up to date but faculty and teaching methods could be better. The English faculty is really well educated and explain literature nicely, media faculty could be better, as in they are educated in their fields but their teaching methods needs improvement.
I applied to Christ University, Bangalore because it has a good brand name and reputation. I applied on their website, then I had to give an entrance test and finally I had to give an interview taken by the faculties of my department. I prepared for the exam by revising on my school subjects, practicing logical skills and general knowledge. I prepared for the interview by practicing some basic questions and taking notes to remember things.
Read Full ReviewI chose this course because it intrigued me. It is a combination of Media and Psychology, two subjects that blend together more often than we think. Beyond that, I love both subjects a lot, and this was the perfect combination. All the faculties are extremely qualified and experienced. They have good connections within the industry and are amazing guides. All faculty are also good at both practical and theory classes. They teach via PPTs, examples, activities, reverse classrooms, field trips and demonstrations. Within a year, there are two semesters. One semester has 3 Continuous Internal Assessments (CIAs); CIA 2 is the mid-sem exam. Beyond this, we have the end-semester exams at the end of each semester. All assessments are timed roughly at a distance of 3-4 weeks each and fall in the mid-difficulty level.
The college doesn't directly provide us with internships. We can ask our faculty to check with their connections in the industry, but we usually try to find internships on our own. We can get paid (Rs.2000 and above) and unpaid internships. We work in various areas like design, content creation, photography, AV Production, writing, etc.
Read Full ReviewThe course curriculum is great but it can still improve on the practical aspects. As social science students though we cannot practice in a lab, the society essentially becomes our lab and practical knowledge is extremely necessary. Including internships, service and community learning programmes should be made mandatory for students. The faculty are highly qualified because all of them are chosen only based on their qualification and their academic track record. The exams are timely and there is also continuous internal assessment that would assess the students performance for time to time.
Need to secure average of 40 percent to be art of the placement process. The placement opportunities are low but there are companies like delta x, zomato approaching the students. There are alot a Other opportunities though for social science students. There are atleast 6 MP'S just from the University.
Read Full ReviewCourse curriculum is tailored to the course as we are being taught exactly what needs to be taught. The faculty are top notch and one would never hate them. The faculty is qualified and helpful with the right motivation to turn each student successful.
I’d say my course is better off than other courses in the college with specialized courses upwards of 4 lakhs. Personally however as an NRI I find it absurd how SOME courses in the college cost how much it costs.
Read Full ReviewChrist offers a vast variety of course in all its campuses. Bba ( finance and international business) is our campus’s ( bannerghetta road campus) flagship course. It is also one of the many courses available in this campus alone. Faculty members are great really good tutors and mentors.
Christ students are getting placed at really good companies. This is not just because of the university. Students will have to earn extra skills and earn more certificates to make the cab looks better. The university alone can’t help your you don’t take effort from our side.
Read Full ReviewVery updated and relavent course work thought by top notch industry professionals who are Chartered Accountants themselves grooming us to be industry ready. Academic Pressure is quite on the high side to balance coursework and CA exams. Downside is the strict attendance policy which at times is a hinderance to our main goal - CA exams.
Top tier placements, you have MBB firms coming for management consulting, top IBs and hedge funds coming hands down the best placements for commerce after DU. The placement process is very well coordinated ensuring equal opportunity to everyone
