The campuses are exemplary, and the faculty is very supportive and has expertise in their respective fields. The discipline has helped prepare me for future jobs in the corporate sector. Further, this college provides enormous academic and extra-curricular opportunities for me to flourish to my full extent. The admission process includes an MCQ test, an interview, a written essay and a mini-presentation. all rounds are fairly simple. You need to read up a little on the field you've applied to and have a strong grip on your 12th-standard subjects. There is no cut-off per se, but you must be confident and articulate. I prepared and revised all my material for the interviews via CUET prep.
I chose this course because it intrigued me. It is a combination of Media and Psychology, two subjects that blend together more often than we think. Beyond that, I love both subjects a lot, and this was the perfect combination. All the faculties are extremely qualified and experienced. They have good connections within the industry and are amazing guides. All faculty are also good at both practical and theory classes. They teach via PPTs, examples, activities, reverse classrooms, field trips and demonstrations. Within a year, there are two semesters. One semester has 3 Continuous Internal Assessments (CIAs); CIA 2 is the mid-sem exam. Beyond this, we have the end-semester exams at the end of each semester. All assessments are timed roughly at a distance of 3-4 weeks each and fall in the mid-difficulty level.
The college doesn't directly provide us with internships. We can ask our faculty to check with their connections in the industry, but we usually try to find internships on our own. We can get paid (Rs.2000 and above) and unpaid internships. We work in various areas like design, content creation, photography, AV Production, writing, etc.
The year-wise fees I pay for my course, a double major in Psychology and Media and Communication, is Rs.1,15,000. This includes a tuition fee and lab fee. Initially, the registration fee is a non-refundable Rs. 5000 during the admission process. There are no additional charges for the fees. Beyond this, my batchmates pay the same for my course, but for other courses, the range from Rs.60,000 to Rs.2,00,000, approx. Several scholarships are available, including merit-based and extracurricular-based.
Campus life i super vibrant. Throughout the odd and even semesters we have fests like Blossoms & Inblooms, Nritta, Darpan, Daksh, Open Days, Symphusion, etc. There ar etwo libraries in the Central Campus, and both house a plethora of books, magazines, newspapers, journals and archives. We have access to all this via our online portal, an access to a huge number of online journals as well. All classrooms are equipped with projection systems. We have a wide variety of sports, around 7 basketball courts, 2 grounds, 2 tennis courts, and amenities for all other sports with a flourishing physical education department. Clubs are at both the University Level (SWO, CCA, CSA, CAPS, ADHOC, Last Minute Productions) and at Departmental Level (Brain Buzz, Press Club, Subtract Pigeons). They are all student run bodies with faculty coordinators.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
