After i applied for alliance university, i did get a mail stating that there will be an Apptitude test followed by a 1 to 1 interview. It was a bsic apptitude test, with some quant questions and verbal questions as of what i remember and the interviewer asked basic questions about myself, my prior education, hobbies and why i chose alliance university. After maybe 3-4 days, i got my acceptance mail.
I did not want to pursue B.Tech because i was weak in chemistry and physics. So chose BBA, because i wanted to go into the finance industry. I was good at math, which helped me with my apptitude test as well as accounting and finance through out my course. Our faculty was good all along for most of the semester except here and there. They used to give too many assignments at once. Other than that everything else was good. The term exams were decently easy, difficulty level i would say 6/ 10.
I am currently doing my 2 month internship at Bajaj Allianz. I am working as a finance intern, focusing on already existing customer' plans and helping them with their financial plans and savings along side building client base and customising plans according to customers.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
I am paying 250000 per annum for my BBA at alliance university. It is very similar to some other universities for BBA. I think its pretty much the same fees for the other courses. We did pay 25000 as a registration fee, which was later deducted from my 1st year tuition fees (225000 after the registration fees)
We had 2 fests, called alliance one, where groups of members would be given a state of india to represent. And then there was this fest called Alliance Literary Fest (ALF). We had Danish Sait (Comedian and Host), this was in December of 2022. We have football, BasketBall, Cricket, Table Tennis, Gym and some other sports too.
The mess food was fine, we got nonveg 3 days a week and eggs on monday. We mostly at Aromas, a restaurant inside the campus, when ever there was veg, because the veg food because it wasnt the best. Hostel students get food, laundry services with thier hostel feels, which was 84000 per semester in my 1st year, and then 2nd year it was 96000 per semester for a 2 sharing, which had 4 people but it was a big room with a balcony and some kitchen space too. Now in my 3rd year, i have moved to a 3bhk flat with 5 of my friends.

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
