REVA University Courses and Fees

REVA University offers 100+ programmes through six faculties. Engineering is one of its main areas, with 12+ B.Tech specialisations. The total fee varies by branch and is higher for technology-focused CSE specialisations. The fee details below are from the 2026 schedule.

CSE with AI and Data Science and CSE with AI/ML have a higher fee than regular CSE. Among the listed engineering branches, Civil Engineering has the lowest total fee, while Aerospace Engineering and Robotics and AI are newer options linked to emerging industry areas.

REVA University Admission Process

REVA University admits students through entrance exam scores, centralised allotment routes, and its own REVA CET. KCET and COMED-K are important for B.Tech admissions, while law, MBA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. courses follow their own selection paths.

B.Tech Admission

For B.Tech, Karnataka-domicile students mainly use KCET. COMED-K is used for management quota seats, and students from outside Karnataka can apply through REVA CET.

B.Arch Admission

For B.Arch, students need a valid NATA score. They must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics and at least 50% aggregate. Karnataka-domicile students can also use KCET architecture paper scores.

MBA Admission

MBA admission is through Karnataka PGCET for Karnataka-domicile students. Students from outside the state can apply with KMAT or CMAT scores. REVA Business School has AACSB membership, which adds to the visibility of the MBA programme among national recruiters.

Law, M.Tech, and Ph.D. Admission

BBA LLB and BA LLB admissions consider CLAT scores along with REVA CET. For M.Tech, the university accepts GATE and Karnataka PGCET, while REVA CET is available for applicants without GATE scores. Ph.D. admission is based on REVA's research entrance test, but UGC-NET and GATE qualified candidates do not have to take the written test.

REVA University Placements

REVA University reported a highest CTC of INR 56 LPA in the 2025-26 placement season, compared with INR 45.5 LPA in 2024-25. The university received 4,050 total offers in 2025-26, including 178 super dream offers and 1,449 dream offers from over 500 companies.

For 2024-25, Engineering recorded an 82% placement rate and the B.Tech median package was INR 7.18 LPA. Management courses had a 97.1% placement rate, while Architecture recorded 86.3%. Along with full-time placements, the university arranged 1,985 internship offers.

The Career Development Centre at REVA University reports the placement figures. Recruiters come from technology, BFSI, architecture, and legal sectors in the Bangalore market. In 2025-26, the university also reported 3 international offers. Its Yelahanka location places it close to the Aerospace SEZ, NH-44 IT parks, and Manyata Tech Park, which are part of its recruiter base.

REVA University Rankings

REVA University appears in national and international ranking systems. Along with its QS I-Gauge Diamond Rating, the university has AACSB membership for its business school.

REVA University is not listed in the NIRF top-100 University list or the top-200 Engineering list. The university, established in 2013, entered the NIRF University 151-200 band and THE Asia rankings within 12 years of its establishment. Its NIRF Engineering band stayed at 201-300 in 2024 and 2025, with research publications and faculty qualification levels stated as main score contributors.

REVA University Campus and Infrastructure

REVA University's 45+ acre campus is located at Rukmini Knowledge Park in Yelahanka, Bangalore. The campus has separate blocks for different faculties, a central library, innovation labs, and the REVA Business School facility. It has more than 16,000 students. The university received a Green University Award in 2023 and has a Sustainable Institutions Diamond Band designation for eco-practices.

Separate hostel facilities are available for men and women. The yearly hostel fee is INR 1.50 to 2.85 Lakhs for men and INR 1.60 to 2.85 Lakhs for women, depending on the room type. Students can choose single, three-sharing, and four-sharing rooms with attached bathrooms. Hostel facilities include Wi-Fi, gym, laundry, 24-hour security, and a mess that serves four meals a day in North Indian and South Indian formats.

The academic infrastructure includes labs for AI, IoT, Cyber Security, Aerospace, Robotics, VLSI, and a Finance Lab for the Business School. REVA University also has a NASSCOM-certified Centre of Excellence in Data Science and AI. Other facilities include smart classrooms, a central library with digital access, an auditorium, a sports complex for Badminton, Cricket, Football, and Basketball, an on-campus medical centre, and transport links to Bangalore city.

The REVA RISE initiative gives merit-based financial support to eligible students. It is meant for high-merit students and helps reduce the cost burden in premium B.Tech specialisations. The university's financial aid office also helps eligible students access NSP, Karnataka state schemes, and minority community scholarships.

REVA University vs Jain University vs Presidency University Bangalore

Students looking at private universities in Bangalore for engineering or management often compare REVA University with Jain (Deemed-to-be University) and Presidency University, Bangalore. All three institutions have NAAC A+ accreditation, offer courses in multiple disciplines, and are located in Bangalore.

REVA University's NIRF band and AACSB-affiliated business school are major points of difference. Jain University has a stronger urban multi-campus presence and is known in sports, arts, commerce, and engineering. Presidency University has lower B.Tech fees while having the same NAAC grade.
