KCET 2022 will be held for Maths and BIology on 16 June 2022 Afternoon and morning shifts respectively. KCET 2022 for Physics and Chemistry will be held on 17 June 2022 in two shifts. To be eligible for appearing in KCET 2022, a candidate needs to secure at least 50% at their graduation level. In the previous session, the authorities reduced KCET 2022 Syllabus by 30%.  

  • KCET 2022 Application Form are available from 5 April 2022. The last date to fill out the application form is 20 April 2022.
  • Candidates who received the required minimum scores in Class 12th will be eligible to apply for the exam.
  • Candidates seeking admission to various UG and PG degrees in Engineering, Agriculture, Architecture, and other fields can appear for the exam.
  • KCET 2022 Question Paper will consist of 60 MCQ questions. These questions must be attempted in 80 minutes. 

What is KCET?

Karnataka Examination Authority oversees the KCET, or Karnataka Common Entrance Test (KEA). It is used to determine eligibility for professional programs such as Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma), Engineering Technology, Diploma in Pharmacy (D.Pharma), Agriculture (Farm Science), and Veterinary Medicine. Students seeking admission to Medical, Unani, Ayurveda, Dental, or Homoeopathy programs must pass the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET), whereas candidates seeking admission to Architecture degrees through KCET 2022 must have passed the JEE Main Paper-2 or NATA Exam.

KCET 2022 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality For government employment, only Indian citizens are eligible to apply.
Age limit Applicants must be 17 years old or older.
Domicile To get admitted to the institution, applicants must be residents of the state of Karnataka.
Educational Qualification The applicant must have passed HSC Exams with a 10 + 2 system of education or a diploma in a relevant field from a recognized state board of education.
Minimum Marks The applicants must have received a minimum of 45 percent on the qualifying exam (40 percent marks for reserved category applicants)
Stream Applicants in the Science track must have completed the intermediate exam.
Mandatory subjects English, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology should all be required topics on the qualifying exam.

KCET 2022 Application Form

The Karnataka Examinations Authority has released the KCET 2022 Application Form on 5 April 2022. Applicants must complete and submit the application form before the deadline i.e 20 April 2022. 

How to Apply for the KCET 2022?

  • The first step to apply for KCET 2022 is registering for the exam by visiting the official website. 
  • Candidates can complete their application by supplying basic personal and educational information.
  • Candidates' signatures and photographs will be scanned and uploaded to the application form.
  • Candidates must sign the statement after filling out all of the required information on the application form.
  • Any changes to the form can be made until the declaration is signed. After that, there will be no way to change the form.
  • Candidates can submit the form online once they have filled in all of the required information.
  • Take a printout of the successfully submitted application form and keep it safe for future use.

The application fee can be paid in two ways: online or offline. Candidates can pay their application costs using approved payment channels.

KCET 2022 Form Correction

The KCET official website will start a rectification window for the KCET 2022 application form from 2 May 2022 to 6 May 2022. Only successfully enrolled candidates will have access to the edit window, which allows them to make changes to the information they entered in the application form. Candidates must verify all data, particularly the category reservation, before making any changes.

KCET 2022 Admit Card

The exam conducting authorities are expected to release the KCET 2022 Admit Card few weeks before exam day.
