IIT Bombay will publish UCEED result 2026 on the official website on 6 March 2026. UCEED scorecard will be available for download from 10 March 2026.
The Undergraduate Common Entrance Exam for Design (UCEED) 2026 will be conducted by IIT Bombay on January 18, 2026. The official notification was released on October 1, 2025, on the official website – uceed.iitb.ac.in. Registration for UCEED 2026 started on October 1, 2025 (5:00 PM), with the last date to apply with a regular fee being October 31, 2025 (11:55 PM). IIT Bombay has released the revised UCEED 2026 syllabus. As per the new UCEED syllabus, the question paper contains two parts: Part A and Part B. All the successfully registered candidates can download the UCEED admit card 2026 on the official website from January 2, 2026, onwards. Candidates must carry a printed copy of the UCEED 2026 Admit Card along with a valid photo identity proof to the exam centre. Without these documents, candidates will not be allowed to sit for the UCEED 2026 exam.
The UCEED 2026 exam is held at 27 exam cities across the country. Candidates must select any three UCEED exam centres in order of their preference during the registration. No change of the exam centre is allowed once the UCEED registration is done. The authorities will release a draft UCEED 2026 answer key along with the question paper on the official website on January 28, 2026.
Candidates can file objections against the UCEED answer key only through the candidates’ portal by January 22, 2026 (Till 5 PM). Objections received via email or any other medium are not acceptable. After reviewing all the comments/ objections, the UCI Committee will release the UCEED 2026 final answer key. The UCEED Final Answer Key cannot be challenged.
UCEED 2026 result is scheduled to be published online on the official website on March 6, 2026. All candidates who appeared for the UCEED 2026 exam can view their results by logging into their accounts by entering their User ID and password. UCEED 2026 Scorecard is available to download from March 10 to July 31, 2026. The UCEED Scorecard includes details like section-wise marks, category-wise qualifying marks, candidate’s name, roll number, etc.
All UCEED 2026 qualified candidates will be assigned a common merit rank. The authorities prepare the UCEED rank list based on the total marks obtained by candidates in the exam. However, candidates should note that the mere appearance in the UCEED 2026 rank list does not guarantee admission to the B.Des program.
In case two or more candidates get the same marks, certain tie-breaking rules are applied to decide the rank of the candidate. The UCEED Tie-breaking criteria are mentioned below:
IIT Bombay is expected to release the category-wise UCEED 2026 cutoff for Part A online on February 5, 2026. The UCEED cutoff is determined based on certain parameters such as the difficulty level of the exam, number of candidates, seat availability, previous year’s cutoff, etc. The UCEED cutoff for seat allocation may differ from institute to institute.
The UCEED 2026 Counselling commences after the declaration of the rank list. All the qualified candidates can fill out the UCEED Counselling Application Form 2026 on the official website.
