UCEED 2027 Dates

Registration takes place in 2026 for the January 2027 examination. The examination date and time cannot be changed at an individual candidate's request.

UCEED Registration Last Date and Late Fee

The regular-fee deadline is 31 October 2026. Registration after that date attracts an additional late fee and is available only until 6 November 2026, 5 pm. The portal closes at that time; an incomplete form is not a valid registration.

Bank service and processing charges are additional. The registration fee is non-refundable and non-transferable. The late fee is added to the applicable regular fee; it does not replace it.

Upload the required photograph, signature, age proof, qualification document and applicable category/disability documents while completing the form. Students appearing for Class 12 in 2027 use the prescribed appearing certificate. The examination-stage OBC-NCL/EWS certificate must be issued on or after 1 April 2026.

UCEED Admit Card and Exam-Day Timings

Admit-card download begins on 1 January 2027 at 1 pm. Check the personal details, photograph, signature, category and centre information. Report discrepancies by 8 January at 5 pm; contact the UCEED office if the admit card cannot be downloaded.

The allotted venue is printed on the admit card. A correction request is not a centre-change request: candidates cannot change their exam city after registration. Identity checks include a photograph and thumb impression, and candidates must remain in the hall for the entire examination.

Answer Key and Response-Sheet Dates

The draft Part-A answer key and candidate responses will be released on 19 January 2027. Comments on the draft key must be uploaded through the candidate portal by 21 January, 5 pm. The final Part-A key is scheduled for 26 January, 5 pm.

Keep a copy of your Part-A responses before the result is declared. Response download is disabled once the results are announced, while scorecard download follows a different timetable. The Part-A answer-key schedule should not be read as a model-answer release for the drawing and design responses in Part B.

UCEED question papers can be used alongside the matching key when checking question numbers and answer options.

UCEED Result and Scorecard Dates

A Part-A shortlist is not the final UCEED rank. Candidates who qualify both parts receive a rank, based on the total of Part-A and Part-B marks. A rank also does not automatically allot a BDes seat.

Use the login and password created during registration to access the result. Scorecards are not sent as hard copies. Although the UCEED office retains digital scorecards for up to five years, the candidate download window ends on 31 July 2027.

BDes Application and Seat Allotment Dates 2027

The joint BDes application window runs from 15 March to 12 April 2027 for IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIT Guwahati, IIT Hyderabad, IIT Indore, IIT Roorkee and IIITDM Jabalpur. Completing UCEED examination registration does not complete this admission application.

The five seat-allotment rounds below are tentative. All dates are in 2027. Seat-acceptance payment and withdrawal windows close at 6 pm on their final dates.

Failure to pay the seat-acceptance fee by the deadline cancels the allotment and removes the candidate from subsequent rounds. Candidates pay this fee only once, even if a later round upgrades their institute under the float option.

The float option remains active until the Round-4 payment deadline, 3 July 2027. Withdrawal with the applicable refund is available until 7 July, 6 pm. After the final round is announced, candidates cannot withdraw or decline an accepted/allotted seat through this process.

Students taking Class 12 in 2027 must also meet the admission qualification conditions. Proof of passing must reach the admitting institute by 30 September 2027; this is not an extension of the April BDes application deadline.
