The seat allotment process for UCEED 2025 is expected to be commenced in the month of April, 2025, and is based on several factors, including rank, category, preference, All India Rank (merit order), reservation category, and seat availability in each institute.

The seat allotment list, presented in the form of opening and closing ranks, will determine which qualified candidates secure seats for BDes admission at institutions:

Steps for the Verification of UCEED Score

Candidates can follow the following steps to verify their UCEED Score:

• Enter the UCEED Roll Number
• Enter the total marks obtained in the UCCED Exam.
• Enter the correct Date of Birth
• Provide the details of the DIN
• Fill in the Email address (use the same login ID and password that was created at the time of filling out the UCEED Application form).
• Click the tick option on the declaration box and then furnish all the required details.
• Then click on the ‘Verify’ Button to get the final result of verification of the UCEED Score.

UCEED Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025

All the candidates who have qualified for the UCEED Exam 2025 and secured a rank can register themselves to participate in the UCEED Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025 session. Through these counseling sessions, qualified candidates will be given admission to any one of the 2025 participating colleges. The following steps have to be followed to register for the UCEED Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025 process:

• Step 1 - Registration: Visit the official website: https://www.uceed.iitb.ac.in to register for the UCEED Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025.
• Step 2 - Login: To log in to the portal, candidates have to enter the same email ID and password created at the time of filling out the UCEED 2025 application form. In case candidates forget their application number or password, they have to again register through the IIT Bombay external User Registration Portal.
• Step 3 - Fill out the UCEED Application Form 2025: After completing the login part, candidates need to complete the UCEED Application Form 2025 where they have to fill in their preference, institution, and other personal details.
• Step 4 - Documents to be uploaded: According to the filled details and specifications, candidates need to upload the following documents:
  • UCEED Score Card 2025
  • Scanned image of Candidate’s signature and Candidate’s Photograph.
  • Mark sheet of qualifying examination (class 12th from a recognized board) or equivalent certificate.
  • Category certificate (OBC-NCL, SC, ST, PwD Certificate, OCI/PIO Card) if applicable.
• Step 5 - Make the UCEED Payment: After completing the document uploading part and reviewing all the filled details, candidates have to pay INR 2000 as an application fee. Then candidates have to pay the Registration Fees for UCEED 2025 through net banking, credit card, or debit card. UCEED 2025 Seat Acceptance Fees are as follows:

• Step 6 - Submit the filled UCEED Application Form: After paying the UCCED 2025 Seat Acceptance Fees and reviewing the entire filled form, click on the ‘Submit’ Button to submit the registration form for the UCCED Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025 Process.
• Step 7 - Print the Registration Form: After successfully submitting the UCEED 2025 Counselling and Seat Allotment Registration form, candidates should take a printout of the registration form for counseling and seat allotment of UCEED 2025.

Note: Candidates can edit or modify their filled details of the UCEED 2025 Counselling and Seat Allotment Registration form before the deadline if there are any discrepancies. They can change the filled order of preferences and submit it again. After the last date of submission, no more changes or modifications will be allowed.

UCEED Counselling and Seat Allotment 2025 Rules and Regulations

There are some UCEED Counselling and seat allotment 2025 rules and regulations that apply to every candidate if they don’t follow the following rules and regulations:

• If the shortlisted candidate does not pay the Seat Acceptance Fees before the allotted date or they refuse to take admission, their candidature will be canceled and the vacant seat will be filled in the subsequent rounds of counseling.
• Candidates have the option of either accepting the choice of institute allocated to them by selecting the ‘Freeze’ option or Refusing the admission offer.
• Candidates have the option to either accept or freeze the allocated institute if they are allotted their second or their choice of an institute or accept with the option which is considered for an upward movement (float) of the choice for subsequent rounds at the time of joint seat allocations.
• Candidates have to mention that they do not want to take part in the subsequent round of counseling at the time of freeing the options. Then the candidates are not eligible to participate in the other rounds of counselling.
• According to the Floating option, candidates can accept the offered seat on one condition, if they are offered admission to an institute of their choice, they will accept, otherwise, they will continue to study in the accepted choice of institution. Those candidates are eligible for further rounds of counseling and admissions.
• Candidates will have to forfeit the seat they had accepted in the previous round of counseling if they are allotted an institute of higher preference. This will apply to only those candidates who choose the float option.
• Candidates have to pay the UCEED acceptance fee only one time. There is no need to pay the UCEED acceptance fee again if a candidate is allotted another seat and if they choose the ‘float’ option.
• For those candidates who accept the seat that they are offered through counseling, their seat acceptance fee will be adjusted against the institute fees at the time of joining. For those candidates who refuse to take admission to the seat offered by counseling to them after making the payment, the fee will be refunded by the rules and regulations of that particular institute.
• Candidates will get a complete refund if they decide to withdraw at the end of the first round or before the end of the second round of counseling and have paid the acceptance fee at the time of UCEED counseling and seat allotment 2025. However, candidates must note that the processing charges of INR 3,000 will be deducted. However, candidates will not get any refund at the end of the last round of counseling since there will be no "float" option after this round.

What are Freeze Options and Float Options during the UCEED 2025 Counseling Process?

While filling out the UCEED Counseling and Seat Allocation 2025 form, candidates have to select either of the options: Freeze or Float.

• Freeze Options: According to the Freeze option of UCEED Counselling and Seat Allocation 2025 rules, candidates who are satisfied with the seat allocated to them, can accept it and pay the fees to reserve their seat of choice.
• Float Options: According to the Float Option of UCEED Counselling and Seat Allocation 2025 rules, candidates who will choose the float option are only eligible to participate in the subsequent round of UCEED Seat Allocation 2025. This can be possible even after accepting the seat allocated to them.

Reporting to the Allotted Institution and Document Verification Process

After completing the UCEED Counselling and Seat Allocation 2025 process, candidates have to report to the allocated institute with all their verified documents to complete the admission formalities. The respective institution has the right to cancel the admission of the candidate if they find some false or incorrect information provided by the candidate at the time of admission procedure.
