BDes Eligibility Criteria

Candidates willing to pursue a Bachelor of Design course must fulfill the eligibility criteria for admission. The eligibility criteria are different for different colleges, but some common criteria are given below.

A candidate who has passed (10 + 2) level/ Pre-University/ Indian School Certificate Examination/ Intermediate Examination in any stream from any recognized board is eligible for admission.

Candidates who have passed (10 + 3) Diploma in Engineering, Architecture, or any other streams are also eligible for admission.

A minimum of 50% marks is required in any of the above-mentioned qualifying examinations. For Reserved Category students, the minimum aggregate mark required is 45%.
