Indian Institute of Technology, Bombay conducts the UCEED 2026 exam in 27 cities in India. This year, the authorities have added three new cities to the list – Noida, Hubballi (Hubli), and Coimbatore. The exam may be conducted in one or more centres in each city. The list of all the UCEED exam centres is released on the official website – uceed.iitb.ac.in.

Candidates are required to select a maximum of three exam centres of their choice while filling out the UCEED 2026 application form. The exam centres entered by candidates must be in the order of their preference. The UCEED exam centres are allotted based on a first come first serve basis.

The venue of the allotted exam centre is mentioned on the admit card for UCEED 2026. Candidates must carry the admit card, valid ID proof and their photograph at the exam location for verification. Candidates are advised to read the important guidelines mentioned on their admit card to know the list of things that are allowed and barred inside the UCEED exam centres.

UCEED Exam Centres 2026: Things to Remember

Some important points to remember while selecting the UCEED exam centres are listed below:

• Candidates must select three exam centres in order of their preference during the application process. Keep the more preferred exam centre in the top position and the less preferred test centre in the last.
• Any request for change in the exam centre is not allowed after the completion of UCEED 2026 registration.
• If enough candidates do not select the specific exam centre from the available UCEED exam centres, then that centre may get removed from the final list of exam centres.
• In that case, candidates will be allotted an exam centre based on their second or third preference.
• Due to operational contingencies, the UCI Committee have the right to add a new city or town, remove an existing test centre and allot a city to the candidate that may not be among any of the preferences filled by a candidate.

UCEED 2026 Exam Day Instruction

Candidates are advised to go through the exam day instructions before showing up at the UCEED exam centres. Keep the following things in mind to avoid any inconvenience on the exam day:

• Candidates must carry the admit card along with a valid photo identity proof while appearing at exam centres.
• The admit card and the photo ID proof must be in original format. The authorities do not accept the photocopies or digital copies.
• Candidates are advised to reach the test venue at the reporting time mentioned on the admit card or at least 30 minutes prior to the exam.
• Candidates must prove their candidature to the concerned authorities at the UCEED exam centres 2026.
• If the relevant authority has any doubts about the identity of the candidate, he/she may not be permitted to take the examination.
• Even if those candidates get permission to take the exam after the verification, they won’t get any extra time as a lot of time may be lost in the formalities.
• On the day of the exam, candidates must avoid things that are not allowed at the UCEED exam centres, such as smart watches, calculators, logbooks, etc. Candidates carrying the aforementioned objects will not be permitted to take the exam.

Things not to carry at UCEED Exam Centres 2026

Candidates are not allowed to carry the following things at the UCEED exam centres:

• Electronic devices such as mobiles, smartphones, digital watches, smart watches, tablets, etc.
• Calculator
• Abacus
• Slide rule
• Logbooks
• The study material of any type
• Geometry box
