DBIT Admission Process

DBIT admits students to BE through merit-based routes. KCET admissions are handled by the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA), while COMEDK manages UGET admissions. The college also considers JEE Main ranks for the National Rank Quota and fills some seats through the management quota.

BE Admission (KCET and COMEDK Route)

For BE admission, students must pass 10+2 or an equivalent exam with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. General category students need at least 45% aggregate in PCM. SC, ST, and OBC students may get relaxation as per Karnataka state rules.

  • Step 1: Take KCET conducted by KEA Karnataka, COMEDK UGET conducted by COMEDK, or register a JEE Main score.
  • Step 2: Sign up for counselling on the KEA portal at cetonline.karnataka.gov.in for KCET or on the COMEDK portal for UGET. Add the preferred college and branch choices.
