Ultimate truth

What I Liked

The cafeteria is good ,you can hangout with friends and chill no one asks .
Lawn is the next best place for you to rest and time pass watching movies or anything .
The sports Department ,you can play indoor games and enjoy .

What I didn’t like

The faculty ,they are rude and do partiality between the students in all terms .

Placement Experience:

If we are talking about the placements it is really worst in our department to be honest . You should do a course outside and gain your potential compete with others and get your job off campus . The internships are provided based on your cgpa which is totally not correct . Companies like capegemini ,IBM,Hyundai...etc companies will come for campus . The highest package in our college is till now 28lpa .

Remarks:

I had written the kcet entrance exam and I got ranking around 50k ,but there were some issue regarding the other batch students who had written kcet exam in that year so my ranking got way too high and it was difficult for me to get into a better college than this and this was the best for the ranking I got .

My ongoing journey

What I Liked

Campus life, we can enjoy a lot just roaming around the college
Cafeteria food, the food we get is awesome

What I didn’t like

Infrastructure, they can improve some things.
Cleanliness, they should hire more workers who sweep the college.

Placement Experience:

We have to maintain CGPA of 7 or above for placements to occur smoothly. There are many companies which visit the college for placements and it starts from 6th semester and would be continuing till 8th semester.

Remarks:

There was comed-k examination for this. I attended it and got the rank of 42,000. Got computer science engineering in first round. The admissions went pretty smooth, there was no issues with my admission. They were pretty friendly too.

Perks of Dons.

What I Liked

Infrastructure is basically, there's not much to be really surprised about it's filled with plants and greenary.
The campus life is average on all. It meets the basic needs but I would still not be satisfied.

What I didn’t like

Faculty is good , it goes on department wise, IS, CHEM, AIDS depts are very liberal and friendly while coming to CSE, PHY, and many more are strict.
Campus life is pleasant but they do not conduct any sort of function at all, it nill.

Placement Experience:

They do offer campus placements but it is minimal. Samsung, BMW, infosys, Capgemini are smcgood companies that come for placements. The minimal criteria I am not aware of such cuz I am still in 3rd sem college placements start around 6th sem.

Remarks:

It was near to my house, plus it offers good environment for study with planty of trees d greenary. Around with colleges this was the only college I could get my CSE seat, although it is a part of VTU and correction are pretty thought, no I did not face any interview or any written test.

Donbosco college review

What I Liked

the thing which i liked most about the college is its green environment and the location of the college as it not surrounded by the industries and it has well developed infrastructure and there is no ragging in the college
the faculties are good supporting and guiding the students

What I didn’t like

the college doesnt have a indoor stadium
the computers in the lab are of windows 7

Placement Experience:

eligibility criteria is 60% juspay , maximum , koskii , soti , infosys 2 offers maximum highes package is 11lpa and average is 6 lpa many of the student got placed through the off campus for packages such as 9lpa

Remarks:

good aspect is teaching faculties are good environment of the college campus is good and food in hostel is good.bad aspect about the college is placements you can get admission in this college through k-cet,comed-k and management

My View on DBIT

What I Liked

I really like the library and my days are very productive when i get into library so thats my favorite place
My second favorite is cafeteria that's the place where we friends have great food and talks, snacks are very good the pricing is also affordable

What I didn’t like

The infrastructure part where there might be a auditorium because we habe seminar halls and all the activities take place over there, we really wish for auditorium
Campus life which consist of fest only has one yearly fest which is always a little disappointing to the students

Placement Experience:

Placement Opportunities are increasing every year but as it says everything depends on your skills, on campus placements had decreased due to recession but now it is backing up well and we can see good results and bulk hiring

Remarks:

I had written cet and comedk and my ranking was pretty low and i wanted cse so i was looking for colleges at tier2/3 and i found this college quite good for my ranking and the cutoffs matched for my comedk ranking so i chose this college

Is Don Bosco Institute of technology actually bad?

What I Liked

Peer environment The seniors are extremely talented extraordinary at their job and very very supportive
Sports, students are really engorged to participate in spots

What I didn’t like

Atmosphere, very green and peaceful and clean capmus
Cultural even though it's only done a few times it's execute very well

Placement Experience:

Placements for CSE branches are very good, how ever all the highest packages were off campus placements There might not be very good placement environment but their are good seniors who help and motivate towards internships and placement training The management also provides placement training in 4th year And there are workshops conducted for interested students

Remarks:

Nice placement opportunities, no interview or group discussions Admission is done via Comed-K Or CET so you'll have to attend their Concilling Management students don't have any interview as such, only 12th marks will be taken into consideration for them

Lakh of Skill training and focusing more on vtu and sem exams

Focus on developing ur skill set and knowledge might help u to get good placement but our college gets u company it's ur capacity to take the job will good placement our college highest placement is of 30lpa of aiml department

Remarks:

The college campus is big and very well suited for education and other curriculum activities like numerous sports activities will avg placement with lakh of skill training and suggest self study regarding ur skills

What I Liked

Teacher faculty is good and caring campus is nice
I love play grounds because I am a sports person

What I didn’t like

Campus is not big canteen food is very expensive
Faculty could be much better could provide more security

Placement is not that good college should provide more job opportunities and placement college placement is very low students are not getting good placement students are getting good jobs in apps and job website only and outside of college

Remarks:

I choose Don Bosco because it was near my home mainly and I did not get government seat so I was ready to take private seat in 2022 my fees was around 200000 I am a sports person I love participating in sports this college is popular for sports so I choose Don Bosco. campus was also good for admission in private seat they check the marks in SSLC and puc physics chemistry and mathematics marks should be more than 35 for private seat after that they will tell to fill the admission form after filling we should 60% in fees in starting only

Review about don bosco

What I Liked

Our college has good infrastructure and campus is full of trees and plants which gives fresh air
Our college have common room for girls and boys, good water facilities for drinking, washroom and all

What I didn’t like

Our college doesn't have yoga section for those are interested in yoga
Our college also doesn't have good gym facilities for large no fo people

Placement Experience:

Campus placement of don bosco college chance is medium and so many of company like infosis, wipro, godrej come for our college to get student hired for there job and we good placement training facility the training faculty conduct session on how get placed in good company for best package

Remarks:

I got 48k ranking in k-cet for this ranking everyone suggested me to get placement in this don bosco which has good placement rating and college rating also so I search about this college in google to know more about this college,placements, facilities, infrastructure after all this during counselling on 2nd round I got placement choice in don bosco for EC branch
