Remarks :

I studied in this college because a neighbour of mine was a pass out here and he gave me good reviews. There were 3+1 rounds of admission drives for CET students, where you can appear in any round and select the college within the ranking. Cut off ranking for mechanical department at the final round was 65,000 for General quota and further higher for reservation quotas.

Course Curriculum Overview :

I chose mechanical department as I wanted to work in supply chain management and logistics. Senior facilities had atleast 10 years of experience and a masters degree, with some having PhDs Junior facilities had 3-4 years of experience and a masters degree. Term exams were conducted at the end of every semester on time. And difficulty of 6/10

Internships Opportunities :

As covid lockdown was in 2020 (my third year where I had to do a mandatory internship) college didn't ask me for an internship. Although I did a few certification courses around that time The internships before 2020 were mostly unpaid

Placement Experience :

The placement drive started in the final year. And every student with no active backlogs were allowed in the drive. But only a handful core companies visited with less than 2lpa offers. A lot more companies with sales based jobs visited offering 3lpa , the total number would be less than 3035.A few to be named are TCS, Infosys, byjus, no broker etc Highest package was 6lpa and average was 2lpa for b2b sales based jobs from companies like Byjus, TCS, cognizant. Percentage of students placed were 30% as mostly lot of them had plans for higher studies My plan was to do MBA

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

The year wise total fees i paid was 95500. Which includes 40000 college tuition fees and 55500 CET fees paid to the state government. Laboratory and development fees were included in the tuition fees. But we had to pay for any student body co-curriculum event organised, which varied from 300 to 1500 Also there would be an exam fees of approximately 1500 and late fees if delayed, that was supposed to be paid every semester Scholarships were provided in the state government fees only. The University did not give any financial aid The college fees was raised from 40k to 45k for the next batch The intake was divided into 2 parts. State govt CET seats and donation seats + COMEDK seats The college fees varied for donation seats depending on the respective departments, approximately 6 lacks to 12 lacks.

Campus Life :

A couple of fests were organised from the University every year. Mostly around February and November Department fests and freshers day were quite often conducted. There was a good amount of availability of books in the University library. A student could borrow 3 books at once. ID card was complusary to enter the library and one to track their timings inside the library. Library also had a computer room, which wasn't open all time but only during college hours. Library timings were 6am-10pm Classrooms were clean and well maintained, good number of desks to sit. Fan and a projector. Although lifts were present they were not accessible by students Sports activities were not encouraged and attendance wasn't provided most of the times. Expect for annual sports day events There were no college led clubs but every department had an official and few unofficial clubs run by the students. NSS and NCC were moderately encouraged. There was no website for the groups apart from the college website

Hostel Facilities :

Food quality was decent compared to other hostels. Menu had a lot of varieties. Breakfast, lunch, tea snacks and dinner were provided. With 2x non veg every week and egg based dish every three days. Every month a grand dinner was celebrated with a lot more dishes. Hostels were clean and spacious, especially the second building. 4 sharing rooms were huge, with bed, table, chair and a closet provided. Every room had attached wash room and attached toilet room with western toilets. Laundry service was given from the hostel twice a week and there were spare washing machines in the hostel to use Rooms were pretty affordable 4 sharing was 78k in the first year I joined 3 sharing was 89k. The price increased every year. I payed 85k for 4 sharing the next year. Registration was done along with the college admission in the same building. A lot of PGs and private rooms were available right outside the campus, so within 500ms

Quality Education In Minimal Fees

Placement Experience :

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

RVU from the POV of a Student

Course Curriculum Overview :

All the faculties are extremely well qualified from top institutions of the world and they are all extremely approachable and nice. The term exams we had were split like CP1, CP2, and CP3 of 20+25+25 marks each. They were some easy ones, and some application based, which develops the engineering thinking mindset
