What's New in Karnataka PGCET 2025?
Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has announced the Karnataka PGCET 2025 counselling schedule on its official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. The authority has also released the seat matrix and fee structure for candidates’ reference.
As per the schedule, Round 1 option entry will be available from September 24 to 28, 2025, and the mock allotment result will be declared on September 29, 2025. Candidates will be able to modify their choices until October 3, 2025, based on the mock allotment. The first round seat allotment results (provisional and final) will be published on October 3 and October 4, 2025, respectively.
For Karnataka PGCET 2025, the seat intake is expected to remain similar to previous years—with over 13,000 seats for MBA, 4,500 seats for MCA, and more than 10,000 seats for M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch programs across participating colleges.
KEA has released the Karnataka PGCET 2025 result for MBA/MCA on August 7, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can check the result on the official website – cetonline.karnataka.gov.in. Log in with your CET number and date of birth to download the provisional result.
Karnataka PGCET Result 2025 for MBA/MCA/M.Tech
The Karnataka PGCET 2025 Exam for MBA/MCA was conducted on 22nd June 2025, with 2 shifts, MCA from 10:30 AM to 12:30 PM and MBA from 2:30 PM to 4:30 PM, and the Karnataka PGCET 2025 M.E./M.Tech/M. Arch exam was conducted on 2nd June 2025. PGCET 2025 exam was conducted in offline mode and included MCQs based on each course.

What is Karnataka PGCET 2025 Exam?
Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance examination conducted once a year for admission to ME/ M.Tech/ M.Arch, MBA & MCA. The admission process through this exam is administered by the Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA).
It is an offline, OMR-based exam where you have to answer 100 MCQs in 120 minutes. The question paper is divided into four sections, the weightage varies for every course.

Karnataka PGCET 2024 Answer Key
KEA released the revised Karnataka PGGCET 2024 M.Tech answer key on September 24, 2024. Earlier, Karnataka PGCET 2024 Final Answer Key for MBA and MCA exams were released on August 16, 2024. When Karnataka PGCET 2025 Result Will Come?
The Results for M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, and MBA will be declared in the month of July, 2025 (tentative), on the KEA website in the form of a scorecard. It displays applicants’ rank as well as scores in the examination. Candidates must download and print the result for future admission procedures.
Follow the steps given below to check the result.
- Visit the Karnataka PGCET 2025 official website.
- Enter your respective login ID and click on the submit button.
- Now click on the download button and save the PDF file of the result.
- You can make a printout of the same for later usage.
Note – The merit list is based on the candidate’s overall performance. The merit list gets published a few days after the announcement of the results.
Tie-Breaker
- Candidates with higher qualifying marks based on the total aggregate marks of the qualifying examination will be considered with higher merit.
- If the scores get similar again, the age of the candidate will be taken into consideration. In this case, the elder age candidate will be given priority.
- If again the marks are tied, the process of lottery will be implemented for merit calculation.
What Is Karnataka PGCET 2025 Counselling?
KEA will conduct Counselling in multiple rounds for the final admission. The counselling process includes various steps such as registration, Choice of college preference, document verification, seat selection, seat allotment, Admission fee, etc.
The counselling will be conducted in online mode. Candidates must take part in the counselling process to confirm their seat in their desired institute. The seats will be allotted based on the marks secured by candidates in the exam and choice filled during counselling.

When Will Karnataka PGCET Hall Ticket Release?
The authorities will release the Admit Card approximately 10 days prior to the examination date (for MBA/MCA exams), for all registered candidates on the official website. For M.E./M.Tech/M.Arch exam, the admit card will be released in the month of may (tentatively). Candidates are advised to verify all the details on their admit card and inform authorities in case of any discrepancies.
To download the admit card, visit the official website and navigate to the link of “Karnataka PGCET Hall Ticket 2025”. Login to your account and your admit card will be displayed on the screen.

How To Fill Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form?
The authorities will release the Application Form on their official website. To fill out the application form, visit the official website and navigate to the link 'PGCET 2025 Registration'. Select the 'New User' tab and enter all the required details.
After registration, you will receive a USER ID/ Application number on the registered contact number. Log in with the received application number and password to enter all the details in the application form. Once completed, verify all the details and submit the application form.
