Karnataka PGCET 2022 will be conducted by the 1st week of July 2022, as per the previous year's analysis. Karnataka PGCET 2022 Courses Offered 

The Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test offers admissions to regular post-graduate programs in the fields of technology, business, and architecture. The courses offered through Karnataka PGCET are M.E, M.Tech, M.Arch, MCA, and MBA. Eligibility Criteria for M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch

Candidates who wish to pursue their post-graduate degrees in M.E/ M.Tech/ M.Arch through the Karnataka PGCET examination must satisfy the following criteria to be eligible for the program:

  • Candidates must have completed their UG degrees in B.Tech, MSc, or other equivalent programs under a recognized board or university.
  • Students must have scored 50% of the total marks to be eligible for the admission process. For the reserved category candidates, i.e., SC/ ST/ OBC, the minimum mark for admission is 45%.
  • Candidates can also apply for admission based on the GATE scores.

Eligibility Criteria for MCA

Applicants who seek admission in the MCA program must ensure to fulfill the following requirements to be eligible for the Karnataka PGCET Examination.

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any branch under a recognized board or university.
  • Candidates must score 50% marks in their examination. SC/ ST/ OBC students need to secure at least 45% of the total marks to be eligible.
  • It is a must for appearing candidates to have mathematics as a core subject in their 10+2.

Eligibility Criteria for MBA

The eligibility criteria to pursue a postgraduate degree in MBA through the Karnataka PGCET examination are as follows:

  • Candidates must have a bachelor's degree from any conceding board or university in any discipline.
  • Appearing students must have secured 50% in their examination and SC/ ST/ OBC candidates must score at least 45% to meet the eligibility criteria.
  • Candidates appearing for their final semester of their bachelors are also eligible to take the test.

Karnataka PGCET 2022 Application Form

The application form for the Karnataka PGCET 2022 examination will be released by the Karnataka Education Authority (KEA) by the 3rd week of June 2022. The application forms will be released in online mode and candidates need to carefully fill the form and submit it before the last date.
