pros: good placements avg salary is more than other colleges prepares us for the corporate world culture diversity cons: too hectic too much competition some teachers are biased very strict in terms of everything
I chose BBA with finance and marketing analytics as right now business analytics is a trend and people are hired more with more salary. few of my teachers are highly qualified and make the class interesting and interactive some teachers are highly qualified but don't know how to teach or handle a class which makes it difficult to concentrate the difficulty level of my exams - high we have two exams and two assignment based submission - for each subject - every semester
not yet - college has given some options but only a few are getting the internships Goldman Sachs company and DE shaw company had come for internships with a stipend of 30k per month for summer internship more companies are yet to come and give us opportunity.
the placements as per the reports and seniors are different the reports the college shows us on paper is that 90% placements but students my seniors are struggling to get placed - there seems to be a rumour that only main campus students are getting the opportunity than other campuses
tuition fees (per annum) - 1,90,000 scholarship - 35,000 (given because I am a resident of Bangalore) admission fee was the same as tuition fees. registration fees - 1,500 tuition fees for people living out of Karnataka - 2,25,000 other fees remain the same uniform fees, books, clubs fees are separate scholarships are given according to the financial condition of the student and their parents. every year on our site there's an option to apply for scholarships.
campus life is exciting as events keep on happening everyday but mostly we do not get to see it as we do not get much of the free hours - its just like a school 9:30 to 3:30 continuous classes for a bba programme this month a business fest was conducted called insignia there are multiple tests held but only a few get to attend the library is great but there are no copies of the same book, so it becomes difficult for the whole class to refer classrooms have good chairs and tables and are cleaned properly - they also use digital smart boards to teach us. we have all kinds of sports at our college and sports events as well were we go to compete with other colleges there's also in college sports day that happens christuniversity instagram pages are available gulab jamoon is also a club where students go on trips knowledge pro is the website for students and there's also an app
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.
I got placed in a company called Glory Infinity Private Limited, there other offers from The math school infosys ultratech every student had multiple offers from company. Not A very high packages but good opportunities
The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
