I applied to Christ University, Bangalore because it has a good brand name and reputation. I applied on their website, then I had to give an entrance test and finally I had to give an interview taken by the faculties of my department. I prepared for the exam by revising on my school subjects, practicing logical skills and general knowledge. I prepared for the interview by practicing some basic questions and taking notes to remember things.
Course curriculum is nice, subjects are up to date but faculty and teaching methods could be better. The English faculty is really well educated and explain literature nicely, media faculty could be better, as in they are educated in their fields but their teaching methods needs improvement.
the first year fees 1,20,000, then 1,15,000 for second and third year, for Bachelors in communication, media and english. There is an option for fourth year as well, but I am not sure about how the fee structure will be as we are the first batch with this option
Christ University always has some or the other event going on, the students are encouraged to participate all the time. There are department wise events, our department has Media Meet, Pratitimb, MediaMUN, etc, so there's no lack of events. Apart from this there are various clubs that you can join based on your interest, be it production, reading, dancing, music, etc.
For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc, shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview
There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students
The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.
the average package is 6 lpa and highest is 14 lpa and there is a placement cell that helps students to get placed. the placement rate of our college is 90%. and the companies come to our college is tcs, tech mahindra, infotech, zelethra, wipro etc.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum
The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.
All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
