- The college keeps organising a lot of events and activities to keep us refreshed which was a huge plus c point.
Dislikes
- The food was pretty average and could definitely use some improvement.
Remarks :
One of the main reasons that I chose SIBM Bengaluru was the tag of Symbiosis being one of the best B schools in India. Also, the course offered, MBA has a huge scope in the market; The growth factor is included as well and I believe that MBA gives a student tremendous growth, be it on a personal basis or a professional basis. Another factor that encouraged me to go after this course was their lucrative placement record which offered a great ROI as well.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The curriculum is set in such a way that students would have to study all 4 specialisations during their 1st year at the college. This would give them an idea of what to expect in each of the specialisations. Once in the 2nd year, they are given the option to choose any one of the 4 major specialisations- Finance, Marketing, Operations and HR. The faculties are very cooperative and helpful. They push the students to perform their level best. There is a scholarship scheme in place where the topper of each stream is awarded a certain amount of cash prize. The fees however is a whopping amount of 22,00,000 which is in par with the IIMs. But also, we should acknowledge the fact that MBA is an expensive course and the ROI is present given that you work hard.
Internships Opportunities :
The internship that I was offered was not really that good as it was a startup wity bad ethics but to be noted is the point that it was extremely difficult to bring a company to campus for an internship as most companies only looked for permanent joinees.
Placement Experience :
The college boasts a placement record of 100% and includes numerous big market players like JP Morgan, ITC, MAHINDRA, Anand Group, etc. The highest package offered was 24,00,000 per annum by Diageo India. An average package of 14,00,000 per annum is the record for 24. All the profiles are for managers like ASM, KAM, etc.
Campus Life :
Life at the campus is pretty chill. Though the campus is not very huge, it does have amenities like a volleyball court, a huge mess, a cafeteria, indoor sports section, a basketball court and lifts installed in the hostel and the campus as well. Hostel is mandatory for all MBA students as it is a residential course. The food quality is average but every thing has its ups and downs. There is a library as well for all the students to use where there are numerous books on business. The entire college is run by student bodies which gives them an experience in managing right from the start.

For our degree program we have well placement opportunities other than bsc agriculture and btech biotechnology. For our college only company will come like itc,shula wine, Nestle etc and they offer good package minimum around 4lakh and some have aptitude test and interview some direct interview

There are top rated faculties which are present in the college who have pursued MBBS and MD degrees from top colleges and have for an exam to become a professor in this college and the teaching skills are pretty great as they make a topic pretty easy to understand for students

The placement and job opportunities are good in our college. Our college provides us only with UG Courses so most of the students pursue higher education after that. The placements are good in our college. If I talk about internships so they are very good. Our college provides both paid and unpaid internships to students.

The criteria is the cgpa should be above 7 and the companies visited are wipro, flipkart, amazon etc. the highest package is 48 lakh per annum and lowest pacuis 3 lakh per annum and the average is 6 lakh per annum

The placement of the college is excellent in the cse stream it has an average package of 9 lakh per annum and highest package of 38 lakh per annum it is a good salary or package for an engineer so it is good placement
BSc Physics at Jain University
Course Curriculum Overview :
Faculties are well qualified and some of them are doing active research. However the college does not have a very active research environment but they do not hinder a student from taking up projects outside. They provide all support like recommendations, attendance permissions etc.

All the faculties are well qualified and quite renowned in their research fields. However some of them have this quality of holding personal grudge and targeting. Some assume you know a lot and don't teach properly and expect more from the student. There is a lot of pressure even with internals, assignments and other things.

Placement Experience :
For placement, The student shouldnt have any backlogs. There are companies that are stated as "Great Places to Work" as well as some startups that come for college recruitment. The highest package last year (2023) was 6000000, and the average package of the university is approximately 850000. A good percentage of people who opt for placements do get placed decntly. My plans after my BBA are writing GMAT and going for my MBA abroad in a good college.
