
As per the official authority, ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education, the selection briefings will be from January 10 to January 19, 2025. Candidates after clearing the cutoff will be eligible for the further rounds of the selection process. The selection process for MBA/PGPM courses will be from February 15 to February 24, 2025, at IBS Hyderabad.
The selection process includes two rounds: Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI). Candidates are expected to deliver a concise talk that show their communication and presentation skills, as well as their ability to think on their feet and structure their thoughts effectively. Each candidate will select one topic from a set of three. They will have 4 minutes to complete the task—1 minute for preparation and 3 minutes for the presentation. The interview is a critical part of the evaluation, focusing on the candidate's attitude, communication skills, and clarity of thought. The final merit list will be released by authorities based on a composite score prepared on GD & PI scores and past academic records.

Candidates who will successfully qualify IBSAT exam 2024 will be shortlisted for the further stages of the selection process. The briefing will be conducted at 70+ locations in major cities and towns in India. For this, candidates will be called for the Group Discussion and Personal Interview rounds which will take place at IBS Hyderabad campus. Candidates must appear for the GD & PI rounds and will be barred from further admission procedures.
For the final selection of candidates; the past academic records, and performance in GD and PI will be considered. Candidates are advised to take admission on due dates in the allotted institution.

After the completion of the selection procedure, authorities will release the final merit list of selected candidates. Based on the candidate's overall performance in GD, PI and academics, the concerned IBS will declare the final result tentatively in March 2025.
