IBSAT exam 2024 is a test conducted by IBS Hyderabad to assess the candidates in Quantitative, Logical Reasoning and Verbal Ability skills. IBSAT Preparation requires the implementation of the right plan and strategy to cover the syllabus. What Is An IBSAT Mock Test?

The conducting body, that is, ICFAI Business School conducts the mock test. It allows the candidates to take the mock test, to get exposure to the authentic exam pattern and navigation system. It helps them to get familiar with the exam-taking experience, and improve their chance to score high.

Only the candidates who registered for the exam will receive the link to appear for the mock test on their registered email address. Registration for the mock test is free, but candidates are required to meet certain eligibility criteria.

Steps To Appear For Mock Test

  • Visit the official website.
  • Click on the tab 'national mock test'.
  • The screen will now display official rules, eligibility criteria, registration and judging price details.
  • Click on the tab 'Take National Mock Test'.
  • The screen will display the registration page, enter the details to create an account.
  • Click on the tab 'Create my account'.
  • Enter the login credentials created.
  • Appear for the Mock Test.

What Are subject-wise IBSAT Preparation Tips?

Any exam preparation requires the implementation of the right plan and strategy to ace the examination. Therefore to prepare for it, completion of the overall syllabus should be your topmost priority. Start your preparation at least 3-4 months before the exam date.

Given below are the subject-wise preparation tips.

Verbal Ability

  • Focus on improving your vocabulary.
  • Listen to English podcasts while taking a break to improve your vocabulary.
  • Make a habit of having conversations in English.
  • Use shortcuts to solve questions.

Reading Comprehension

  • Make reading a daily habit.
  • Read newspapers every day, and mark the passages and your interpretation of the same.
  • Read the questions before reading the passage. This will help you reduce the time it takes to solve the paper as you will already know what you are looking for.
  • Learn to read between the lines, i.e. the deeper meaning of the lines.
  • Underline the words that you don’t understand and look for their meanings.

Quantitative Aptitude

  • Devote at least one hour every day to practice for Maths.
  • Learn how to use shortcuts and how to apply them.
  • Maintain consistency while practising the questions.
  • Avoid using a calculator.

Data Interpretation

  • Cover all the basics first. Make sure that you have your fundamentals are clear.
  • Go through the previous year’s papers for different Management entrance exams.
