IBSAT Preparation 2026 should be based on the official four-section exam structure, regular practice, mock tests and previous IBSAT-level questions. IBSAT is conducted by the ICFAI Foundation for Higher Education (IFHE) for admission to the MBA/PGPM programmes offered across the nine ICFAI Business School campuses.

Verbal Ability

• Build vocabulary through regular reading and revision rather than memorising long word lists at once.
• Practise synonyms, antonyms, idioms, one-word substitutions, sentence correction and fill-in-the-blank questions.
• Revise grammar rules, especially subject-verb agreement, tenses, modifiers, articles and prepositions.
• Practise para jumbles and sentence-arrangement questions under time limits.
• Since Verbal Ability has 50 questions, practise quick elimination of clearly incorrect options.

Reading Comprehension

• Revise percentages, ratios, averages and approximation because these are frequently used in data-based calculations.
• For Data Adequacy questions, focus on whether the information is sufficient to solve the problem rather than calculating more than necessary.
• Practise under time limits because Data Adequacy & Interpretation can become time-consuming.
• Review mock-test errors and identify whether they are caused by calculation mistakes, data-reading errors or incorrect interpretation.
