The XAT 2026 registration process begins on July 10, 2025 on the official website — xatonline.in. Interested candidates must complete the online application form before the first week of December 2025. To apply, candidates need to create a login ID, fill out the application form, upload required documents, and pay the applicable fee.

Candidate Registration

• Navigate to the official website, that is, https://xatonline.in.
• Enter your name, email, phone number, password, state and city of residence, and click on Register.
• After successful verification of the information entered, the user ID and password will be generated. Note the ID and password for future login purposes.

Fill Out XAT Application form

• Navigate to the official website and log in with the registered credentials.
• The very first page will be for personal details. Fill in the following information:
  • Name as per the government ID
  • Date of Birth
  • Name of Parents
  • Category
  • Nationality
  • Permanent Address
  • Current Address
  • State and District
  • Emergency contact details
• After filling in all the personal details, the candidate will be redirected to the next page where the educational qualifications need to be filled.
• Fill in the details of work experience, if any.
  • Enter all the details of a company, period, designation whatever is required
  • Only full-time work experience needs to be added.
  • Internships, workshops, training, etc. need not be mentioned in the form
• Select the preferred program among the following:
  • Human Resource Management
  • Fellow Management Program
  • Business Management
• Select the preferred campuses for each selected program. A candidate who does not want to apply for XLRI programs may skip the step.
• Next, select any two exam centres as per preference and convenience.

Payment Of XAT Registration Fee

• Next, the candidates need to pay the application fee to complete their application form. 

• In case online payment fails due to a technical glitch, the candidate needs to repeat the payment process only instead of refilling the complete Application form.
• The candidate must note that after successful payment of the Application fee, a receipt is generated which is to be saved.
• If a receipt is not generated then it is a case of payment failure.
• Some acceptable modes of payment are Rupay debit card, Visa Debit card, Master card, credit card, Internet Banking, IMPS, Mobile Wallets, etc.

• After the successful completion of the application form, you will receive a confirmation message via mail or SMS.
