Rabindranath Tagore University issued a notification on November 6, 2024, detailing the interview schedule for PhD candidates. RTU will conduct an entrance exam on November 11, 2024. The entrance exam results will be announced on November 11, 2024. The interview will be held on November 12, 2024.

Documents Required for RTU PhD Interview

Candidates are required to bring the following documents listed below:-

  • Research proposal
  • Original UGC-NET 2024/ Joint CSIR-NET 2024 Scorecard (Wherever applicable)
  • Original Aadhar card
  • Caste Certificate (Wherever applicable)

Requirements for Research Proposal

The research proposal must contain the following:-

  • Provisional title
  • Introduction
  • Literature review
  • Research design and methodology
  • Implications of the study
  • Reference list. (All references should be written in APA 7th edition format)
  • Timeline

The candidates who have qualified the UGC NET JUNE 2024/Joint CSIR-UGC NET JUNE 2024 exams are exempted from the RTU PhD entrance exam and can directly apply for the Interview process.
