NID DAT 2023 Mains Result for M.Des has been declared on 18th May 2023 by the National Institute of Design (NID) on the official website admissions.nid.edu. NID DAT 2023 Mains exam was held from 20th March 2023 to 23rd April 2023. Candidates can check their results on the official website of one who appeared in the exam.
General category candidates need to obtain 50% while OBC candidates need to obtain 45% and SC and ST candidates need to score 40% to get qualify for the exam. Tie-Breaking Criteria for NID DAT 2023 Mains Result
Listed below are the Tie-Breaking Criteria for those students who got the same score in the final result:
- In the final result, a higher rank is assigned to the candidates who scored higher marks in the DAT mains exam according to the official tie-breaking criteria.
- The candidate who got a higher rank and who scores more marks in the stage- 1 design aptitude test section
- Again if the tie is there then further, a higher rank will be given to the candidates who score more marks in stage - 1 design aptitude test section part-B
- In the event of a tie, the applicants who scored more points in Level 1 of the Qualifying Examination Part A will be awarded a higher rank
- Finally, if there is a tie between two candidates, the candidate who got the maximum marks on the question of the DAT mains exam will be credited with a higher rank.
