Eligibility criteria for Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University (VBSPU) courses vary depending on the course:

• BSc

  Students must have passed 10+2 with at least 45% marks from a recognized board. For BSc in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, or Geology, students must have passed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.

• BCA

  Students must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics group or equivalent (40% marks for Gen/OBC & 33 % for SC/ ST).

• B.Com

  Students must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with commerce or economics or mathematics as one of the subjects (40% marks for Gen/OBC & 33 % for SC/ST).

• Sc/ST category candidates

  SC/ST category candidates receive a 5% relaxation marks in the qualifying degree examination.
