To get admission in AMU ZHCET you have to clear AMUEEE(Aligarh Muslim University Engineering Entrance Exam) only on the basis of merit you will admission there, AMU offers some reservation for Internals(who have completed their class 12th form AMU, 50%) , CE(child of employee, 26 seats), CA(child of alumni, 18 seats), OBC(some seats), SC, ST, NCC The major factor of choosing this college is the overall NIRF ranking(8 this year) and in Engineering(33 now ) which is very good , and the fees is also very less which give good return of investment in terms of placement, exposure, worldwide opportunites.
I have chosen this college because it perfectly align my interest and carrier goals. The combination of practical and theoretical knowledge provided by the college stood out to me. Classrooms, labs are decent, my college also have 6G lab which was given to 100 technical institutes of the country Mostly of the faculties are passed out from top IITs(Bombay, Delhi, Kanpur, Roorkee) some are from international universities. All teachers are experts in their respective fields their teaching methodology align with students interests. In a semester we have 2 mid semester exams(top score is considered) and 1 end semester, quizzes, assignments. Difficulty level of both midsem and endsem exam is medium to difficult sometimes difficult but not easy honestly saying.
Till now i haven't opted for any internship but most probably i will do internship in my 6th semester. Companies like LnT, Siemens, StarLabs, wipro, TATA chemicals, TCS, Technip India, BPCL etc they are on campus but students also go for ISRO, DRDO, IITs for research internships. They provide good stipend to students some provide 12-15k some provide 25k some give more than that it depends. Mostly Computer Engineering students go for development roles, AL/ML roles and research roles.
Current scenerio of Placement and internship is not good in campus very few companies and visiting the campus, but their are good chances if you are well prepared for placements you will get any on campus or off campus opportunity either through any club or hackathons etc.
In first year we have to pay around 20k fees as a day scholar and 22.2k as a hostler means hostel fees is only 2.2k for a whole year and this amount is only for first year which includes registration fee, examination fee, admission fees, lab fees, wifi fees, library fees, and many more things are included in that much less amount. Then from 2nd year onwards the fees will be only 8k for hostlers and 6k for day scholars for whole year means complete B.Tech course fees will be around 40k
Their are many fest which our university organises every year. Specific annual fest of our college is ZARF which is the largest annual fest of the university is organised every year in the month of march. AMU is the only University in India which have its own horse riding club other sports facilities like gym, hockey, cricket, badminton, football, volleyball, skating , swimming and many more, overall very good exposure to sports enthusiasts AMU ZHCET have number if clubs (Robo, SAE , Underwater vehicle, Enterpreneurship) etc
I haven't opted for hostel but i know from my friends who stay in hostel. According to mess charges(1800Rs per month) food quality is overall good i will not say food is very good but ok, both veg and non veg is provided in mess, rice and dal is permanent in lunch and dinner in addition either sabzi or meat is provided according to individual choice. Hostel Registration process is very easy for engg students their are 2 halls (Nadim Tarin and sulaiman hall) , after getting admission in college we have to go to the respective hall allotted on admission card and complete the process by filling details of students, address proof, identity etc room allotment is on the basis of first come first serve so go early and take early bird advantage, hostel is very affordable(charges are 2- 2.3k for whole year) Mostly all students get room in hostel if in any case PG is required their are many localities which provide good PGs like Sir syed nagar, Dodhpur, zohra bagh etc
They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
There are regular placement drives that are conducted on a monthly basis. We have regular updates for campus placement drives that are shared with us and we can participate in them to choose the best options for ourselves.
Galgotias University has a high placement rate with the current tenures placement reaching 5500+ job offers. The highest package was 60LPA and the average goes between 5LPA. The university has a dedicated placement cell and also an well developed student led e-cell. There are many internship opportunities as well both India and abroad.
Galgotias University has a very strong placement cell and more then 200 companies like Infosys, josh technology, Capgemini and many more have made given the placement offer to students and highest package is of 60 LPA
The placement are nice, this year the Highest package was of 60 Lakh and the Average package was of 5.4 Lakh. There are a lot of internships oppourtinity also so you get to experience Industry work during you 3rd year which gives you a heads up.
Our course provides internship for every student from the first year onwards as it is mandatory for everyone to do an internship from the 1st year , it also provides best placement for student who wanted to go in corporate filed ,the Highest package till now is 8lpa and lowest is 3.6 lpa and Average package is between 4 to 6 lpa
B.Tech computer Science engineering is very tech driven field which , by the assistance of new tech driven laboratories, latest generation technology focused curriculum, is very remarkable field to study and progress in.
Placements and job opportunities at Galgotias university are good. Students become eligible according to their course requirements and academic performance. Many healthcare companies and hospitals visit for placements and internships. After completing B.Sc Nursing, my plan is to work in a good hospital, gain experience and grow in the healthcare field.
