A Guide for my college
Remarks :
When i applied for this college i got selected on the basis of my X and XII marks and i got invited for offline interview, In which i got asked about the questions related to physics and mathematics of XII and on the basis of answers i got mail of selection. The good aspects of my college is it offers great opportunity to study abroad, they have many programs in different countries that offers you such as on of their three continent program in which you study in different continents for a semester. The bad aspects of my college is it has very bad attendance policy, they are very strict on maintaining above 75% attendance and also it has marks for attendance., they have face- id attendance system to track you attendance.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because i like coding, building new projects of developments and learning technologies. The qualification of faculty are very good all of them are PHD and from renowned institutes such as IITs. The teaching method is depends on how students get it and it is different for different students, for me i would say it is good for some teachers. The term exams were on time. The mid-term exams is easy if you well attentive in your classes but for final term exams you have to bit more prepare than mid-term.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year-wise fees you will be paying 434000 and it keeps on increasing and their are scholarships such as if you have above 90% in 12th exam you will get 100% scholarship and if you had above 85% and below 90% you will get 50% scholarship and so on. They also have sports related scholarships ana all. Also, they have two category during admission one is Non-Sponsored category and other is Sponsored category. In Non-Sponsored category they have eligibility criteria like class(X & XII) agg. 60% with (Physics + Mathematics + Third subject*) min 70% for third subject they have list you can select from it and The Sponsored category they relaxed the above eligibility criteria by 5%. So for sponsored category fees is higher than non-sponsored category like for non-sponsored category the fees for 1st semester is 206500 and for sponsored category is 310000.
Campus Life :
Campus life is average for me because the academic pressure is high, you have to complete your practical, assignments, tests etc. In short you have a little time for your other tasks. There are many clubs in my college they organize event in every week on Thursday you can participate in any events. There are fests such as Sangathan, it is a inter-amity sports event held around September, It contains a large variety of sports held for a long week. Other one is Amity Youth Fest in which they invite celebrities singers, in previous year they invite Raftaar for concert. There are basketball courts, Tennis courts, Badminton courts, a large ground for football, cricket etc, swimming pool, shooting, arcade etc. For my block the infrastructure is bit old as it is the oldest block compared to other blocks.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
