- Infrastructure is good and faculty are also good. All labs are well equipped and students have to perform experiments by themselves ofcourse lab assistants will help.
- Campus is green and have all types of facilities.
Dislikes
- I think campus have to work more to get more companies to come and visit the campus.
- Placement is the main thing they need to work on.
Remarks :
Aligarh Muslim University conducts its own entrance exam for admission in btech, its name is amueee around 20 to 30 thousand students take this exam. AMU has a good atmosphere for self study and well equipped facilities.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I was always interested in electrical works so that's why i choose btech in EE. Eligibility for AMUEEE is 12th appearing or passed with at least 55% aggregate to best of my knowledge. To get admission in zhcet you need to qualify the AMUEEE and it's cutoff is around 50 for external students(students who have not completed there 12th from AMU board) and 45 to 42 for internal students (students who have done there 12th from AMU itself). Labs and classes are well equipped and faculties are also good. Exam are always on time and questions are of moderate level, one who study can easily pass. Well it is a government college so fees are not too much but for branches like AI and automotive vehicle fees are high around 60000 for a year as they are newly launched courses.
Internships Opportunities :
As i am a 1st year students there is not much opportunities for us and if there is, then those are internships in which you have to pay to get internship. But here professors helps students to get internship and TPO is also there to help students to get internships.
Placement Experience :
Some compus has percentage criteria like 8 cgpa and some less than that to sit in exam of campus placement. Around 70% students get placed but some students prefer for PG. TCS, Infosys, Wipro, PSU's are some companies that visits campus. Highest package is 21lpa and average is 4lpa and median is 5lpa. I am also preparing for campus placements or GATE exam.
Campus Life :
Engineering fest for tech and cultural is known as zarf, and it is held on the month of march. AMU engineering faculty has it's own book band and AMU has one of the biggest library in india. Classrooms has both white board and projectors. AMU has all types of sports and courts you can think of and well maintained but you have to pay around 100 per month to play. AMU zhcet has many clubs like amuroboclub, automotive vehicle club, GDSC club etc. AMU hostels in 1st year are 4 seater and food is ok but not so good.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
