- The campus has many different food outlets like dominos, subway, cafe coffee day and even has a bookstore
- The faculty are very kind and polite and lenient too. They are patient with their students and support them with problems
Dislikes
- Apart from the Psychology building each and every building is brand new, the infrastructure is very old and needs to change
- Combination of certain Major and Minor subjects often result in clashes between classes resulting in being marked absent in one class.
Remarks :
The college offers a 4 year program rather than a typical 3 year honours, in 4th year you will get to publish a research paper of your own. Secondly, along with your course the college teaches you a foreign language. To get a direct admission to this college one must have a score of 80% in their class 12th boards (excluding physical education, fine arts), otherwise you will have to give an interview to get in.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course dives deep into applied psychology, not only by focusing on theory but also giving a practical experience on how things work. The faculty are learned and have completed their P.hD from reputed colleges. They are very supportive and chill and beautifully explain everything. Along with that the university provides you with notes that you can refer from. The exams usually takes place after 4-5 months from the start of semester and are not so difficult if you have clarity of concepts
Internships Opportunities :
As I am in the first year, I haven't opted for an internship as internships starts from 2nd year, as for psychology many clinics and hospitals give internship opportunities to students. Mostly they are paid internships for which you will have to pay.
Placement Experience :
After 4th year, many hospitals and clinics offer placements to students as a trainee psychologist, otherwise many amity alumni's have their own startups in which they hire fresh amity graduates. My personal plans after completing this degree is to pursue higher education from universities abroad.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
For 1 semester in Amity you will have to pay around 1,02,500 without any scholarship along with the security deposit which is 20,000 (refundable). You can get scholarship based on your merit in 12th boards or competitive exams (eg. CUET,JEE), if you scored more than 95% you can get a 100% dean scholarship for which you will have to be in the top 5% of the class each semester, if score if 90-94.99, then 50%, 85-90 then 25%.
Campus Life :
As the name suggest, Amity hosts a wide range of events from festive events like onam, navratri to hosting various concerts of Raftaar and other artists. Their library is state of the art offering a wide variety of book in each genre, along with that it has many computers for students to research. The college has many active sports and social groups which are always open for newcomers who can take part in them.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
