Likes
- I like the infrastructure, the fact that the college is in a university campus, so we get to enjoy the whole University life. We get to interact with students from different field of studies.
- We have University Horse riding club which is the only riding club in any university in India, swimming club and many more sport facilities.
Dislikes
- There are very few things , still I have to mention the lower side too. The city is very underdeveloped. Due to which several companies don't come to place students. You won't find some facilities you find in metro cities.
- I have already mentioned the only things I dislike about the college. There may be many more things respectively to other students.
Remarks :
The college stands very strong in the NIRF ranking constantly maintaining the position in top 40 engineering colleges in India. One kore factor is return of investment. The fee of the College is very low. When it comes to older branches like Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer etc the total cost of the B. Tech is about 44K which is way way less than the money students are wasting in private colleges. In order to get admission here one has to appear in an entrance examination AMUEEE conducted by Aligarh Muslim University. Just to get admission in any branch one has to scire kire than 50, and 45 for internal students. They ask 150 questions of 1 mark each consisting of three sections. Physics, Chemistry and Maths with 50 questions each.
Course Curriculum Overview :
Since my branch of study is a bit new so the curriculum is up to date. When ut comes to faculty they are well qualified having research experience in several areas. Seniormost faculties having the experience of more than 20-25 years will start teaching just in 2nd year.
Internships Opportunities :
No, I haven't opted for any internship as of now. There are several internship opportunities too. You may go for reasearch internships or industrial internships according to your future leaning. University has CARET which is especially for research in Electric Vehicles. Students do projects under highly experienced professors.
Placement Experience :
When it comes to placements, the core branches students get placed. Students generally prefer going for higher stidies or in government sector. Still in terms of placement this college lags a bit. Still better in return of investment. Mechanical engineering has 6lpa as the average package.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In the first year at the time of admission you have to pay 60k as the admission fee. They will charge 53k for the next three consecutive years. There are plenty of scholarship options for deserving students. More the fees more is the scholarship. This was all about Automobile Engineering specialised in EV and Hybrid Vehicles. The fee is more than Mechanical Engineering ( which costs 8k each year after 20k in the first year) just because this is relatively new branch of sturdy and kore research has to be done in this field.
Campus Life :
The buildings are very old. Obviously new buildings are being built as the situation arises. Social life is good as the seniors are very cooperative and the peer support too. Since Aligarh is not Delhi so don't expect the social life you see there. There are plenty of clubs. There is a formula racing club, roboclub, several clubs related to machine learning and computer science, several branches of international societies. The beat part about the clubs us that they are active throughout and help us in one way or the other in overall development.
Hostel Facilities :
There are two halls for Engineering students in AMU. You can opt for hostel at the time of registration. After the admission you will be allotted a hostel in which you have to go physically and get yourself the room allotted. Since the no. of students is very large one has to be very quick in order to get room in the hostel otherwise you have to wait for an entire year and accomodate outside the campus. When ut comes to mess facilities food is good not too excellent. What do you expect from a hostel mess. You won't get the food you get in your home. Still the food is not too spicy, not too oily and eatable.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
