- College infrastructure is really very very good, with good sports facilities and well furnished classrooms with modern facilities. The whole academic block along with admin block in centrally air conditioned. There is also proper safety and security inside our university.
- Campus Life here is very good thing which I like, this college gives you ample amount of time and space to enjoy your college life also you can pursue other thing as well.
Dislikes
- Sometimes I belive that college administration is not strict enough, as there is not updation the course curriculum from the last 10 years, there is not any review committee look out what is needed in the college etc.
- Some of the faculties here are not up to the marks, they just come in the class and dictate all the notes without putting effort to breakdown the topic for better understanding.
Remarks :
For getting admission in RMLNLU, students have to clear the Common law admission test (CLAT) with a good rank, like for gen rank it is between 200-500, for OBC it may go upto 3500 air rank. Students have to qualify only the written exam of CLAT and there is not any interviews or group discussion. For the clat examination students have to go through of the subjects like, critical reasoning, reading comprehension, some legal knowledge, quantitative aptitude and current affairs. For preparing these student can get to the coaching, they also do self study but since there is not any fixed syllabus they have carve out it from different sources. Also students graduated from my college have dynamic career like, 50% of batch go for judicial or civil services examinations, rest 30% for corporate jobs rather placement in , various law firms, MNC's and other chambers and 15% of them go for higher studies from india as well as from abroad and rest 5% prepare for CAT examination.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I want my career in something related to public administration or police. For the same it is very essential and helpful to understand the law governing our socity for the same reason I choose to go for studying law. Now for the same, there needed is the good faculties which provide accurate knowledge for the preparation related to those. So some of the faculties here are exceptionally good, some of them gives life lessons and learnings but all of the faculties have good knowledge over the subjects. There are around 40 full time faculties residing in the campus. Teaching method is somehow same to other law schools but some of them uses ppt and handouts in class. There is smart classrooms so it is very convenient and helpful. There is semester wise examination, every year there is 2 semester and examination takes place in the month of April and November. There is total of 10 semester.
Internships Opportunities :
I have done various internships majority of them is litigation internships. For the internship I have to go to Delhi, where u undertook the works like researching, making case briefs, drafting letters and notices etc., there is also good exposure of court proceeding as well from district court to Supreme court there. Apart from this I also undertook the internship in the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights with is under Ministry of Women and child development which gives me good exposure to laws related to children. I also too internship opportunities in various NGO which was helpful in developing my soft skills. All of the internships which I undertook is unpaid. In some internships projects may be allocated but in general sense it is not as per my experience.
Placement Experience :
Placement here is decent. Decent because most of the people from the batch did not seat in the placement drive because many of them prepared for Judicial and civil services. But the people who seat 90% of them secures good placement. Usually in law schools good amount of placements are there in law firms ( Tier 1 and Tier 2), chambers of advocate. However MNC like Deloitte, EY, Unilever etc. also comes to our college. Some of the banks also comes in our college for recruitment like ICICI, HDFC, PNB etc.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
From the year 2024-25 there is little hike in the annual fees, however it is still low in comparison to other NLU'S. At my time the tution fees is around rupee 1,68,000 for the first year and then rupee 1,48,000 for subsequent years. But from the year 2024-25, it is around rupee 2,50,000. Student should also note that, there is 35-40000, message fees which the hoslers have to pay. Exact amount may vary, but it is between that only. Apart from this there is not any extra charge likd registration fees, exam fees, moot court fees etc.
Campus Life :
The location of college is very prominent. It is located in the aashiyana area of the city of lucknow. Social life here is one of the best thing college can give you. Swiggy, zomato,Uber, blinkit, zepto all are deliverable in this area even in the midnight also, there is also nice clubs and restaurants with 15-20 min drive. There are multiple fest in the college, but the national level fest is Riwayat which usually happens in the month of Febuary, in this fest ther eja cultural as well as sports activities took place. Peoples from other National law schools are also there, it is 3-4 days fest. Apart from this there is also 2-3 fest which happen during the academic year. Library is very good with around 30,000+ books having good e library also giving access to Oxford, Cambridge, hein online etc.
Hostel Facilities :
There is not any additional fees for hostel, people who wants to resides in hostel they have to just pay the message fees. I am residing in the college provided hostel. There are total 3 hostels in the college of which 2 of them are boys and 1 is for girls. In boys hostel, in the first year of studies student get double sharing rooms but from the 2 years they are getting single rooms which is one of the best thing people expect from any college hostel. There are common washrooms also with geyser facility at every floors. Now coming to mess, it is good, covering foods from north and south india both. Students are provided 4 time meals in a day viz breakfast at around 8:30-10 am , then lunch 1-2pm followed by evening snacks at 4:30-5:30 pm and then dinner from 8:30-10pm. There is vide range of menu like chola bhatura, panner sabji, egg curry, biryani, idli dosa, Vada pav, etc. deserts is also served on every wed and Sunday.

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
