Remarks :
I chose this college party on the basis of merit (my NEET score) and party on the basis of affordability of fees, and it is by far one of the most renowned university in Meerut, quite popular among the local people. Admission is solely on the basis of merit in NEET exam, and cut off is comparatively higher than other private colleges of Uttar Pradesh. I personally believe it is worth joining here because the faculty is quite dedicated and regular classes are held, as compared to other private and government institutions. Course completion and regular exams are conducted, and there's a detention list prepared for bottom-most candidates, who then have to pay a detention fee in order to appear for the final examinations.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course as I'm a classroom learner, and regular classes helpe grab my concepts clearly, and they're quite appreciable here. However, students have to maintain a minimum attendance of 75% in theory and 80% in practicals, which feels quite high being a medico. But since we're learning directly from our teachers, who are all practicing doctors, all being running the OPDs too in the hospital, so their practical experience blended with theory classes makes learning quite interesting. Also, they're supportive and provide an interactive case based discussions during clinical postings in hospital itself.
Internships Opportunities :
Internship is to be done after completion of MBBS degree, for 1 year. Here you take rounds with treating doctors, and perform minor but important procedures which a MBBS doctor is expected to do in daily life. Also, there's one on one patient interaction and management, so one needs to learn enthusiastically. Stipend offered is 4-6k per month only.
Placement Experience :
After completion of the degree, some students get placed as non-PG tutors in various non clinical departments, while residing here. Around 1-2 recruited per year. They're offered quite a good salary, but the working hours are same: 8-4 pm. I personally don't plan on getting recruitment here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
Yearly total fee structure is 11.91 lac along with 2.5 lac of hostel fee, along with 80000 miscellaneous charges. Scholarships not clear. Total fee structure comes approx 65-70 lac for 5 years, with an annual increment of hostel fee, as per the college guidelines. Registration fees at the starting of the course was 2000 at my time. No other development or caution fees. No other merit based scholarships available here. However, there's a security fee of 2 lac, which is refundable at the end of the 5 year course. If someone leaves his/her seat in the middle of this tenure, they have to pay the entire 5 year fee, along with losing their security amount too. The fee for every new batch has been increasing till now, at around 3-4% rate.
Campus Life :
Campus is really beautiful, with proper trees and roads maintained we'll throughout. Hostels are located almost near the college, with girls and boys residing in different ones. They also have stores, fruit vendors and restaurants, along with a gym, salon and a dairy inside the campus, so it's like a mini town you live in. A 4 day Fest named Plexus is organised every year in the month of September or October, which involves participation from all MBBS students, and is organised by 3rd year MBBS students. It's a time worth remembering throughout the year, maybe the best time of your college life. Library is well equipped, with atleast 2-3 copies of books of every author of that subject, and previous year question papers.
Hostel Facilities :
Hostels are a decent place to live, with proper infrastructure and we'll maintained rooms. Quite spacious and AC and non AC-both options available at a price of 2 lac and 3 lac respectively. Mess is well maintained and hygienic, as the staff wear proper gloves and hair masks while making and serving food. The quality of food is yet a concern for the students, but the parents find it okay surprisingly. Menu consist of vegetarian food, with eggs available on a single day, and omelette on another day, rest non-vegetarian is not available. Hostels are worth the price, with a badminton court inside them for students. Lift is also available for students and proper cleanliness is maintained throughout. Water and electricity is not a concern, as it is available 24x7. All the students who are not a resident of Meerut, are required to live in the hostel while PG facility is available as per the permission from the authorities.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
