Likes
- The college is very very big and carries a rich legacy of Mahamana Pandit Madan Mohan Malviya.
- Faculty is very rich and infrastructure is fabulous.
- We are given health facilities where anything related to health is done free of charge for the students of this university.
Dislikes
- The grandeur of the college has its drawbacks also because for every small work we have to get to a place far by 1 km in the campus and it is very time taking.
- We should be offered more internship opportunities and placements.
Remarks :
I have done my graduation also from Banaras Hindu University. Hence i had the 1st hand experience of this college. I had to appear for CUET PG exam vonducted by NTA. There was no GD/PI. Only cut off had to be crossed which in my year was around 220/400. I had gained 267. I used to prepare for other exams so I did not have to do much for this.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I chose this course because of its prevalence and that is law. All the faculties here are very rich in knowledge and teaching skills. Most of them have to experience of taking judiciary interviews and also have set question papers for such exams. So the faculty is very rich. Exam patterns are strict and very less vacations are provided
Internships Opportunities :
We have to complete at least 2 internships during the course of this examination under a listed advocate from any state bar council. I have completed one so far. But not much. These are not under companies, these are self internships mandatory for appearing in exams.
Placement Experience :
There is not much scope for placements from Banaras Hindu University because they groom us mainly for the judiciary exams and not litigation. Hence the ratio is less compared to other colleges. Even if placement is offered, it is for LLM and above courses.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The annual fees is Rs. 2,500. It is very much affordable because the fees decreases instead of increasing. I paid Rs.2,500 in the 1st year but in 2nd year i paid only Rs. 1,950. For other categories also it may be lesser. I am from general category.
Campus Life :
Here we have spandan that is conducted every five year. And these events are subject to every faculty. In law faculty these events are not of much importance. They focus too much on studies. Library here is also very rich. And we give semester exams on library books only and dont purchase books. The faculty runs sports activities from August to October.
Hostel Facilities :
Yes I have opted for hostel. And living in the campus is really very good. The rooms are very good and everything is hygienic. The mess food is very good. Atleast better than any other pg available in the area. But it is a bit difficult to get hostel here because it purely depends on your marks in entrance exam and the hostels are less especially for girls and no other way is there to apply for hostel. It completely depends on merit gained at entrance exam.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
