- I really liked the infrastructure and classes here. And the supportive nature of the teachers.
- I made a lot of good friends here, enjoyed a lot, not inside the university but outside, Gorakhpur city is a very beautiful and clean city.
Dislikes
- There is no fest here, the university administration does not support the students much.
- University official makes lot of mistakes in the results and we have to make lot of rounds to get them corrected,All this makes me feel very bad.
Remarks :
I wanted to do BSc after 12th and this University is a State University which is in my home town so I took admission here. To get admission here you have to clear the university entrance exam and if your rank is within 500 (marks: 100+) then you will get admission here. There is no interview for admission in B.Sc. You just have to clear the entrance exam in which objective type questions are asked Which is not very difficult, the syllabus is of class 11 and 12 only.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I have done BSc Maths from here. The faculty here is very good and supportive. The qualifications of the teachers are also commendable. The Professors are qualified from IITs, DU and BHU. Their teaching method is also good, they explain in an easy manner.And they make you prepare proper notes of all the topics. They also give you project assignments to do. Semester exams are held according to the academic calendar in which you will do well.
Internships Opportunities :
There were no internships given to us. Here BSC is taught in different subjects. If you want to do it in Biology or Industrial Chemistry or Computer Science then you will have to take an internship yourself.
Placement Experience :
There is no placement in BSc department. Half of us start focusing on government jobs and half on PG. Some people get a government job by the time they complete their graduation and some continue preparing even after that. I gave the cuet PG exam and now I have got admission in BHU for MSC Maths.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The year wise fees is around 4000 rupees. In odd semester you have to pay registration + examination fees which is around 2600 rupees and in even semester only examination fees is submitted which is around 1400 rupees. You can also get scholarship of up government or national scholarship and get the full refund of the yearly fees(around 6000 rupees per year).
Campus Life :
Campus life is ok here . They celebrate all the festivals and days like yoga day , science day , sports day , environment day etc and dikshant samaroh also held every year . You can find people with different ideologies and you can also make many friends here. There is not much of sports here, there is study, practicals are less, although all the equipment is available for games. The library is good here, you will find the books you need, the classrooms are good Smart classrooms have been created so that things can be explained to students through visualization. There is nothing in the name of extracurricular activities here. Here students do not focus on clubs or websites, however various channels have been created on Instagram to share funny content.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
