Likes
- The college have nice infrastructure and have every necessary things in the campus including labs, canteens, lecture theatres, etc.
- Campus have appreciating faculty members in ameach department. They are understanding, calm and always ready to help out of the class.
Dislikes
- I didn't find something which i dislike but I woukd say the campus is not that large of 15.5 acres which you may find as you don't have much to roam in campus.
- The one more thing I would say that there is less sports equipment and playground ms as compared to other campuses of the Jaypee University.
Remarks :
The Jaypee Institute of Information and Technology, sec-62 Noida us specifically known for its reputation and decent environment of campus. The admission process of Brech courses is through Jee rank or 10+2 scores and for BCA, MBA, BSC, MSC courses there is also a 10+2 scores merit and entrance test conduct by campus itself. The entrance test is not that hard to crack just a basic 10+2 understanding needed.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I am enrolled in Bsc in Computer Science in jiit, I choose that course because I left with less options lately. The faculties are much better here than other local colleges and universities in noida. Each faculty are Phd level certified and the teaching style is also good. There is Test1, Test2 and Test3 (end term) which us of 20, 20 and 35 marks respectively, and rest of 25 marks consist of Teacher Assessment. Other than this there is projects, lab evaluation and lab test. The difficulty level of exams are moderate to advance.
Internships Opportunities :
I did Summer internship in my summer vacations of 2024, I completed my 2nd year that time. The company is based on financial advising named Rovisors research and I had a role of website development with the team. The intership is unpaid as its a startup i am working with. My wirk is to design and make mostly static public website for the company.
Placement Experience :
If you don't have backlogs in any subject and CGPA of atleast 6 then you are eligible to sit in placement rounds. Many companies visits campus like Deloitte, google, Adobe, Microsoft, etc and made descent number of offers to students. Around 70 - 90% students gets placed. I will go foreign universities for masters after the degree from here.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
I am pursuing Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and there is a tution fee of 50000, development fee of 12500 and Jaypee youth club fee if 700 each of them are per semester. Also the tution increases by 2500 every year which accounts to total of around 4 lacs for 3 year course and around lacs for 4 year course. For Btech course its around 1.5 lacs per semester which accounts to around 13 lacs for 4 year course including other miscellaneous charges Also hostsl fees is 1 lac per semester which includes every basic requirements like hostel meal of three times, laundry, hostel room, sports, gym, swimming pool, etc.
Campus Life :
There is 2-3 days college fest named Impressions held in month of February every year which uncludes many games, competitions, hackathons, dance, singing, and artist performance, etc. There is Library Resource Centre (Lrc) in campus which have every book and research paper for free a student of any course needs. The library is big can accommodate around 700 students at a time. There is also a sports opportunities offered by the campus, the sec-128 campus have bigger dedicated grounds for different sports so sec-62 campus offers transport facilities to students of this campus to showcase there skills. The campus have many social groups like NCC or societies and clubs of dancing, singing and literature acts, etc. The students of the campus are varies from average to extraordinary minds. The students always puts themselves to create some good from their unique ideas like my senior made a Jiit Buddy app which shows students portfolio, marks, fees, attendance everything at one place.
Hostel Facilities :
I have not opted for hostel but I know about it, like the food quality is average to good and the menu is based on weekly schedules like there is different meal on each day. The hostel fees is 1 lac per semester and to apply for hostel room you have to consult to registrar office. If anyone needs room or PG they can go for noida sec- 62 or sec- 63 and Indirapuram which are nearest to campus.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
