Likes
- Placement of college is very good faculty are good. And teachers are understanding.
- Library access is very good anytime you can go and take your favorite book for reading and good water faculties and college area and sitting area is neet and clean.
Dislikes
- The thing i don't like too much about is college doesn't looks like college it looks like a school it not a broad infrastructure like other colleges.
- It has limited access to cantine and cantine is not too much big.
Remarks :
The placements ratio is the biggest factor to choose VSICS over other colleges. I haven't face any Group discussion and interview round. There are few criteria through which you can directly take admission without going through test. Basically you must passout 12 on the same year in which you're taking admission basically no study gap after 12 and overall percentage of 12 should be 65%+ and in maths your score must be 65+. If these criterias are met you will be directly allowed to take admission without attending any test or interview otherwise they will take simple interview to analyse you.
Course Curriculum Overview :
If i share my personal experience faculty's are fully experienced all are having masters degree with 5+ years of teaching experience. All the faculty details you can check on official website of VSICS. So basically every semesters duration is 6 month in which one university exam will be held. And for best prepation college will take mid semester exam. After 4-5 month of your every semester the same pattern will follow. And in college practicals will be there you should have to attend those that will directly connected with your internal marks
Internships Opportunities :
I got placement in wipro and tcs thaymt was both full times role as a support engineer. Currently i am working in Wipro so basically wipro offers salary of 17k and your post graduation MTECH from bits pilani will be fully sponsored by wipro.
Placement Experience :
The college is highly popular for placement, i believe it is the one of the best college in kanpur specially for BCA in terms of placements. Placement ratio is very good. Around 80 -90% we can take. Big MNC's like wipro, capgemine, accenture,Infosys, TCS...... etc are the hiring partners. There is the special training and placement cell for arranging all the companies calls and interview and placements.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
As per 2024 latest records currently yearly fees is 51000rs, which obviously not one time payment. We have to pay in every semesters, so basically semester wise fees would be 25500. But when you're taking admission this 500rs admission form fees and 3000 security amount which will be refund after completing of your degree. So basically 1st sem you have to pay toatal of 29000( 25000(tution fee)+ 500(form fees) + 3000(security amount) ) And after that 25500 which will followed by next 5 semesters. And government scholarship are there you have to fill form and submit on college administrator room they will forward your application and you might get around half of your fees as scholarship(25000 per year)
Campus Life :
VSICS conduct many college fest. 1- after taking a new admission the very fuction you will attend is called freshers it whould mostly on November and December month. All the students are welcomed in this function. 2- function is named as SRIJAN. Its a yearly celebration function college will sponsor it will be full of fun. It will conduct every year. And fun base activity function called FUN-FIESTA is also there where different activities are there. Like cycling and racing and sprinting, logo designing, vedio editing and outdoor when it celebrate students will go and ask for sponsorship and they will open different different type of stall and celebrate this FUN FIESTA with full of joy and memories.
Hostel Facilities :
I was from local so haven't opted any rented rooms but college didn't provide any hostel services as many of the students from local only. But nearby college rooms are available for rent if you are coming from out of station you can easily take room on rents and continue your studies.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
