Amity Online BCA Experience
Remarks :
Ya so all of our course is pre recorded videos, but we do have live doubt clearing sessions. We have 6 live sessions for each subject, in which teachers explain the important and hard topics and we can also ask our doubts in the session. Live sessions are held in Google meet, previously it used to have in Zoom but now they have switched to google meet. There is no entrance exam, we can have direct admission but there is a cut off which is also very low like 45% i guess, i dont remember properly. We have 6 modules per subject, which we have to complete before the given dates. Every module have a assignment which we have to complete for the internal marks. And for the exams, we only have the end sem exam, which is held in chrome browser. They mirror our screens and check on us through the camera.
Course Curriculum Overview :
I choose this course because I wanted something affordable but also something that can give me some recognition. Like the regular offline courses are very expensive, and the cheap ones are of no use so I though that I'll do the online course as it is the same price as the offline cheap private colleges and I would get the support of a big university like Amity also.
Internships Opportunities :
No. When I enrolled for this course I was told that we would get 2 internships with TCS iON but according to my seniors which are enrolled in the same course they are not given any internships. So i dont think ill also get one.
Placement Experience :
I dont about the percentage of the students getting placement but we do get a lot of placements offers, like almost every week one or two company comes for placement. But the problem is that for us the BCA and MCA students there are not many placement offers because almost every placement is for the Sales, management and hr departments, so like its better for the Bcom, bba and mba students. My plan is to just get the degree and do masters somewhere offline, because as this is online (distance) mode so I would not get as many offers like the regular offline degree so I have to do the Masters offline, I think that not sure.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So I paid a registration fee of 500 and my per semester fees is 22500 rupees. We dont have to pay any extra for anything like the hardcopy of books and exam fees everything is included in the semester fee. I think now the fees are increased a little bit, because when i took admission they were giving discount thats why my per sem is 22.5k. I dont know about the scholarships but i think there is a financial aid available for the students.
Campus Life :
There are fests held for the online students also. We can go and participate if we want in the fests held in Amity University Noida campus. We have some extra certification courses free of cost for the online students also. Amity Online recently made our own social media platform named "beSocial" for us online students. right now there are more then 80000 members in the platform.

our course is not for placement , you will get job in many library as per your degree , if you want grad a jobs you have complete PHD in library science . there is no campuss placement in this college for this course . most of student do mlis and UGN net after blis and some of them prepare for government like JNV and asst librarioan posts

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

It's a private college so we can't expect something great we need to manage our studies ourselves . Teachers are quite confused for whatever they teach. The environment is also not that good. I would suggest that you can get a better college from this
