- Infrastructure here is good nothing to boast about. SMDC has it's own renowned hospital which is a big thing. College provides 3 saperate building and some other outside building for every course . College has everything that any student will need . We have our own canteen , mess , common room both for boys and girls . We have an auditorium also called as maharaja hall . There all the conferences happen and small events. Its fun to be there . Faculty here is very educated
- Faculty that we have is very educated and have very professional degrees . Faculty treats us like their own children and are very open to adjustments for each other student . They'll go to lengths to make a student study and excel in their exams. We have Faculty from all over india ,there is no racism there.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure could be better , we have our hospitals 10km from here that's very tiring for any of us to go everyday
- No medical college here has society like drama , dance to cool off its students. That i find very sad and it can be improved in my opinion.
Remarks :
It's very close to delhi , for its prime location It's given more value than any other medical clg situated in small town / cities. College is approx 30 years old and it was the first private medical clg of UP so it has It's own set of perks . Course fees of BDS here is affordable and this college teaches MBBS and BDS students together so both thr students get great insight of each other's course.
Course Curriculum Overview :
BDS in india is very advance and professional course. BDS has work life balance unlike any other medical course and has more value than any other medical course in abroad . This course has to deal with dental problems which are very interesting to learn about . Not only BDS students learn to make other people's smile better they can even go for oncology if they wish to do so . Bds course is not limited to just caries , its alot more than that!
Internships Opportunities :
Every student who is doing medical course no matter which one ( MBBS , BDS ,BPT ETC ) has to undergo internship year only then they are allowed to practice in india. Every college has it own hospital or has affiliation with some other hospital to provide it's students internhip .interns get ?4000 to ?7000 per month. Internship is of one year and student has to do his clinical duty in every department.
Placement Experience :
There are no placements for medical college and its students . It's advisable to go for PG course after UG course but if student wishes to do a job instead or set up their own clinic thats their wish but college doesn't provide it . No medical college in india provides placement . Every student wishing to take a job has to find it him/herself only . To take admission in PG COURSE you have to give one NEET PG / NEET MDS exam and depending on marks gained we get seat alloted by govt . Its highly competitive exam and there are very few seats only and after reservation there is very less number of seats for general cast students.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
In santosh medical college , while taking admission you'll be asked to pay registration fees of ?15,000 for your manuals that you'll be needing for the entire course. Then you'll have give your pre dated fees checks of 62,000 per quarter tht is ?2,50,000 yearly . While taking admissions they ask you ?15000 + ?62,000 ( advance fees ) + ?1500 ( for icard renewal yearly ) . There is a scholarship sceme for those students having proff result percentage of 75% or more . But there's no concession for ST , SC ,OBC . Everyone has to pay equally
Campus Life :
No societies like drama , dance society are there in medical colleges mostly. In medical clg only one yearly fest is there and other small events happening entire year like diwali , dandiya events . Other than this there are manyyy sports events and medical conference happening entire year. Yearly fest name of SMC COLLEGE is AURA . Fest takes place for 3 days regularly that includes 1 full day of events like painting, sports , photography etc and for 2nd day we have DJ and for 3rd day we have ethnic night . Vibe of entire fest is unimaginable. It takes place in December but dates are variable. Its a good feel good experience for students like us who spend day and night in hospital and lectures . Other events like dandiya and sports are also celebrated with equal enthusiasm. Everyone is allowed to participate even faculty joins us to show it's okay for doctors to have a little fun once in a while. Santosh college spends alot on its functions and to give students best experience .
Hostel Facilities :
We have a very affordable hostel both for boys and girls . It has its attached mess facility room . It costs different depending on your preference if you want a single room. , sharing room with and without AC. Its opposite to our college campus.

They were no campus place name because I opted for humanity degree and humanities degree comes with no direct placement after UG and it acquires greater and highest studies so right now I am doing my post graduation and the emploibility is very low

Course Curriculum Overview :
The course curriculum is well structured and covers both theoretical and practical knowledge which helps to build a strong foundation for a subject like biomedical. I always had interest in human health and diseases which is why I chose this course. Faculties are always willing to clear doubts as they are well qualified in there particular domain. And overall I feel the course provides a good academic environment for students. there is a academic calendar provided which gets updated time to time and exam are conducted according to this calendar only.

Placement Experience :
Campus placements start from the 7th semester for students, once the University criteria is fulfilled. As B. Tech Biotechnology is a newly introduced course, there is no Branch wise Placement data available for B.Tech Biotechnology as of now but the university does attract companies like Nestlé, Yakult, Dabur, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, HCLTech, and so on. The university stated the overall highest package was 60 LPA and the average placement was around 5.4 LPA. My ambition is to pursue a career in Biotechnology in R&D or QA/QC or Biopharmaceutical industry after graduation and enhance my technical knowledge.
